This lens seamlessly transitions from a shoulder-mounted application to a traditional cinema lens, offering flexibility and adaptability to your shooting needs.
The Canon CINE-SERVO 17-120mm T2.95 zoom lens is equipped with an ENG-style Digital Drive handgrip with a zoom rocker switch, which can be detached for manual cinema operation. This lens boasts a high 4K optical performance across a broad focal length range of 17mm to 120mm, all within a compact and lightweight body.
With a three-group inner focus system, this lens minimizes focus breathing and provides a stable angle of view. The 11-blade iris allows for creative depth-of-field manipulation and natural "bokeh" background. The lens is designed to support matte boxes, follow focus, and other accessories, ensuring its compatibility with your existing equipment.
The lens is compliant with industry-standard camera-to-lens communication protocols, ensuring compatibility with multiple brands and models of 4K, 2K, and HD cameras. This includes 12-pin serial communication, Cooke's /i Technology, and Canon EOS technology.
The Canon CINE-SERVO 17-120mm T2.95 lens offers dual operability. With its Canon Digital Drive handgrip unit attached, it is ideal for shoulder mount camera configurations. The Digital Drive unit does not require manual adjustment of the focus, zoom, and iris gears on the lens, and a rubber cap prevents dirt from entering the Digital Drive unit connections when it's detached.
The lens features an ergonomically designed compact and lightweight Digital Drive unit that fits into an operator's hand, reducing fatigue. The lens barrel markings are clearly engraved in both feet and meters on both sides of the lens barrel, and focus indicators on the front side of the lens are marked on an inclined surface for easy visibility.
The lens features a 180-degree focus rotation angle and can accommodate both 0.8 type and 0.5 type gear module focus accessories. It supports major power-driven accessories, matte boxes, and other standard options used by filmmakers.

- High Zoom Magnification 7x:Coupled with an extremely versatile focal length that is continuously variable from 17mm to 120 mm. Its compact size and light weight include the same type of removable drive unit found on conventional broadcast-use ENG lenses, with ergonomics that provide a familiar feel that many ENG cameramen expect.
- 4K-ready optical performance: for digital cameras equipped with Super35mm CMOS sensors that offer four times the image resolution of conventional HD media. The lenses' high optical performance across a wide zoom range matches that of 4K single-chip, large-format digital cameras, for both cinema and broadcast applications
- 11-Blade Iris Provides Natural Bokeh: The use of an 11-blade iris produces artistic and beautiful out-of-focus areas or "Bokeh." The 11 blades allow for attractive circular blurring in out-of-focus regions, while the use of an odd number of blades helps reduce flaring of specular highlights.
- Designed for Cinema Style & Broadcast Applications: The lens incorporates a removable drive unit that provides remote control of the focus, zoom and iris/aperture settings. Focus indicators on the front side of the lens are marked on a beveled surface, making them easier to identify from the rear of the camera especially when mounted on a shoulder.
- Enhanced Servo Drive Unit: The LCD display enables users to easily access functions on the drive unit. User settings are also accessible from the drive unit. The drive unit can provide a very fast zoom speed of up to 0.5 seconds from end to end, or a very slow speed of 300 seconds. These can be changed using a toggle switch on the drive unit.
