I'd purchased the EVF-V70 to replace an EVF-V50 that was attached to my Canon C300 Mk III.  While the V50 was quiet good for framing, it did not meet my critical focusing needs, and its position on the rear of the camera presented an ergonomic challenge.  The  EVF-V70 has rectified all of those issues, and has provided the convenience of its easily accessible function buttons. My only complaint is its cost. But that aside, it is a pro-grade EVF that makes operating the camera a pleasure.
