Fits perfect and locks down snug. This lens hood really completes my EF 20mm f/2.8 USM lens and 1D X camera package by giving me a professional edge for taking great photos and looking good while doing it. Wish I would have bought this lens hood before wasting $25 on an aftermarket hood that would not fit securely and just fell off with normal use. This original Canon product is the only way to go. Worth every penny and highly recommended!
