Questions & Answers

JOSEPH B : How easy is this to maneuver in the field? I have the 100EG and it's not convenient for carrying lenses and accessories outdoors. The strap is too short to balance the bag and interchange lenses. It's excellent for carrying to and from places, but I want something easier to manage outdoors. Does the 10EG fill the bill?
Shopper : easy to carry?PETER V : It is easy to carry and also has a waist strap which I have rarely used. Although it is not a large bag there is enough room for the camera, lens, GPS, flash, batteries etc. I have carried it constantly in the past two years on trips to Europe.JUAN L : Yes.MICHAEL F : Nice case for our rebel. Easy carry even on planes. Mike f.DAVID M : I carry it with the handle shown in the drawing and the loaded bag feels very balanced to me. However there are two additional options -- one is a built in strap that could be used to hold the bag around your waist plus there is a shoulder strap that attaches to the bag if you prefer. I haven't used those options, but they provide some flexibility.DAVISON S : Shoulder strap is molded, padded, and textured. I carry it everywhereNANCY K : I foumd it comfortable and easy to carry and stayed nicely on my shoulder. Nice comparrments too.DONALD H : Yes, fairly easy to carry for this type of bag, although I wouldn't want to pack it around all day long. I use it for storing cameras and equipment while traveling, not for all day tote.TORFI J : Yes it is. Its a very nice bag.S T : Easy to carry, with the hand or arm strap.. Even when packed full,of gear.
Richard C : Will it hold my canon 7d and a canon 100-400 telephoto lens?TIMOTHY B : It barely fits my 7D with the 70-200 2.8 ver II lens on it. I don't know if the 100-400 is longer that my 70-200.STEVE A : The EF 100 - 400 mm shown on the Canon web site is 7.4 inches long with a max diameter of 3.6 inches. This lens, either on or off the 7D body, could be fit into the bag, but there would be little room for efficient storage of other lenses or accessories. Personally, I would choose a larger gadget bag, some of which are designed to stow a body with a long lens attached.DIRK M : It may be a tight fit with the lens attached to the camera, but if the components are separated, they will absolutely fit. A 5D II with 70-200 telephoto attached fits with about an inch to spare. A 60D with battery grip and 70-200 fits about the same. Side pockets and front pocket has plenty of room for filters, batteries, etc.JUAN L : I dont own the lens but judging from its measurements and my 7D its a really tight fit. If your gonna keep the lens attached to the 7D, maybe it will just hold, but with little to no space for anything else. Hope to have answered you question.

Nice item, but overpriced.

This is a very nice bag, and it is as described. However, it is overpriced.

A great camera bag, but with a small footprint

I own a Canon 80D and have 3 lenses - I recently added a 4th Macro lens and my old camera bag was getting a bit tight, so I tried to find a larger bag, but a bag with dimensions so that I could take it with me easily no matter where I go - this fit the bill perfectly

Excellent value

For a DSLR, mirrorless or film SLR body and up to 4 lens kit with accessories, this is a great soft bag. Well designed layout, light weight, well padded interior storage and rugged exterior.

Awesome Bag!

This is a great bag! I had bought the smaller version several years ago, but as I bought more accessories, it quickly filled up. This bag is great! Its a nice size to hold everything you need, without being TOO big to carry around!

solid bag

Wanted to get a bag that didn't have fasteners that could unsnap if you pick it up and the metal clasp solves that problem for me. is a little snug inside (it can fit four lenses and a camera body), but snug does also mean 'no movement inside for the lenses.'

Great first bag!

I'm new into photography and this bag has been great for me! I didn't find any included instructions and being new and not knowing "the best" way to layout the bag, I was a little lost. Some form of suggested layout or best practices would have been nice to see. It is very hard for something to earn 5 stars from me so this got a great rating!

Good Value

I've very much enjoyed this bag. I bought it in April 2007 from a local retailer, took it to Argentina for a week and carried it everywhere with a Nikon D50 with attached 18-55mm lens, Panasonic hand camcorder, batteries, memory cards, 10 tapes, and a few misc cables. I've used it almost daily since then and taken it about every where I go. My only complaints are the bottom tripod straps are not the easiest to use (I went to a fabric store and grabbed some back pack clips and new straps for about 4 dollars), and the inner mesh is starting to wear a bit. Otherwise, it's held up and protected all my lenses and cameras very well, and doesn't draw a ton of attention to itself. I'd buy one again, but now a year later I need the larger version since my 'bag of tricks' has grown.

Excellent Value

Single outside front pouch is more useful than the next model up which has 2 pouches but thay are too small. Not overpriced like some Logo branded products. Handle on top is convenient, but should not be used in place of strap for long periods as it places all of the weight on the zippered top flap. I have 2 of these {1 larger} and have never had a failure, but it is a weakness-use the strap for long carries. Side pouches have both velcro and zipper closing for excellent protection. Tripod hangers on bottom are useless, but then I have said that about every bag since 1977. Good Buy

• This gadget bag is an excellent value, with all the quality material of the Professional 1, at a slightly smaller size. It is designed to hold two 35mm SLR bodies, 5 - 8 lenses, plus film and accessories.
• It features full padding and interior partitions, leather reinforcing, high strength quick-release buckles, padded exterior pockets, leather snap handle and shoulder strap.
• Dimension: 11"W x 8.7"h X 7.9"D.
