Well made. Worth the upgrade to the sad, wimpy little things which shipped with my Zeiss ZE lenses. Rarely slip off unintentionally... which is the point.

It's a challenge to rave about a lens cap, but I have to say that an OEM pinch lens cap from Canon is a pretty well constructed piece of equipment. Far better than the old skool ones with the tabs only on the side, and frankly miles and miles (or kilometers and kilometers for the more globally oriented among us) beyond the sad and weak little things sent along with my Zeiss ZE primes... the caps on all of which have been replaced over time with the OEM Canon units. I can hear the echo in the distance "das ist eine katastrophe!" In any case, ~$13 is worth it to keep things all buttoned up while not on the camera.
