Our company bought two MP25DV calculaotrs a little over a year ago. One has barely been used (about 3 months sporadically used. The other one has not been used at all. After inputting 4 to 5 numbers (ten if you lucky), the paper feeder quits working and starts printing each number on top of the next. The paper guides are clearly not set where they need to be. At first I thought it was just the one calculator that had the issues. I even bought new rolls of paper in case the issues was with the paper. I brought calculator #2 which was still in it's original unopened box. Same issue. You can clearly see the guides are not installed so that the paper slides out of the guide and jams up. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! The money we spent on these two items could have been through up in the air and let the wind carry it away for the use we got out of these two items. They are a piece of junk. Now I have to go back to my boss and ask to purchase another calculator. Not cool, especially after just one year of VERY limited use. I am so disappointed in this Canon model. I've been a tried and true Canon customer for 20+ years. Always bought Canon. NOT ANY MORE!!!!

Have had this model for several years. What can I say, it does math, prints a tape, and runs subtotals. If it fails, I'll buy another.

This new model is not as durable as my old model Cañón MP25D. It shuts off every 7 minutes and this is so annoying. Cañón please bring back the good quality, durable calculator without the power save mode. For a calculator that's nonsense.

I had this model for 20 years and it worked great - the new model is worthless for anyone that uses a calculator all day. It shuts off automatically every 5 minutes on non-use.

Not very durable. I bought a bunch of these for my tax office and a good number of them locked up and were worthless within an unacceptably short period of time.

I have better than 20/20 vision and the print on this calculator is so light, I struggle to see it! Other than that, It's a good machine, but if you need the print feature, forget it!

Happy with everything except the printing. Low grade receipt printing right out of the box. Other than that work good and I have been using this machine for almost a year

I bought this one about 1 month ago as a replacement for another older Canon. What a difference! Now this is much more cheaply made with smaller keys. For me, it is much harder to get a good feel with it. And it turns itself off in "energy saver mode" so you always have to start by hitting the clear key to wake it up. Not at all efficient! So Sorry I got this.

I have always used Canon but this one is junk. It has repeatedly locked up and even the reset doesn't work. Don't waste your time or money.

I bought this calculator a little over a month ago and it has stopped working. It turns on but when you press any key, nothing happens. When it did work, it was very loud and had a clunky feel. Don't waste your money!

I have used Canon calculators for many years, but this one just isn't the same quality. The keys stick constantly and they are much harder to push than my last one.

i have used Canon for over 30 years and this is an awful product. The subtraction key is always getting stuck. Wastes time~that none of have at work. Wont stand behind them anymore. This one is only 2 years old. Previous ones lasted for over 20 years.. Maybe that's the intent...but it wont make me buy anymore.

When you change the ribbon you get nothing - it is not any darker than before changing and I make sure the ribbons are not dried out or old.

As the office manager of a small business I needed a new calculator and Canon always seemed to be a reliable product for me. Not this time. Within about a month the keys would lock up and I'd have to turn it off and back on to get anything to work. Some days it seems to lock up more than want to actually work. I wouldn't recommend this model to anyone. When I'm running long tapes of numbers and it freezes up it wastes a huge amount of my time. I hate to ask the boss for a new one when this is only 6 months old. Such a waste of money. Otherwise I like it's functions and feel.

I have always used a Canon calculator so when I needed a new one I didn't hesitate to buy this. I wish I had bought something else. The #4 key sticks terribly and when putting in repetitive numbers it quite often gets stuck and puts in more than I intend. I think this will go to junk pile. Not even goodwill because it's worthless.

I have used this same older model of calculator in my business of bookkeeping in the past and have always been very happy but not anymore. Am using it at home (not much use and it started falling apart quite quickly Stuck keys or inoperable keys. Will Canon stand behind their product?

Keys stick always.. You have to jam your finger repeatedly to get the numbers to take. It has stuck since I unboxed it. I will never buy another. What waste of money!

This calculator is a piece of junk. Sometimes the keys work and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the machine will add the number three times when you push the button once. I have had the calculator less than sixty days, and it is going in the dumpster. I gave this product one star because Canon would not allow me to give it a zero.

I am having the same problem as "Payroll" who wrote the first review. Mine is also sticking. I have to turn it off and on in order to make it work. It has gotten really bad in the past few weeks. I use it daily and need it very much. I need a strong calculator with tape capability for my business.

I am a faithful Canon calculator purchaser. I run a payroll company and it is vital that I can trust my equipment. The machines goes to "sleep" in the middle of entering data. The keys stick. Paper feed may or may not work, really depends on it's mood. Canon has lost my loyalty. As I can not afford to have faulty equipment and stay in business.

I am a CPA who wants an adding machine that does all the basic things well. This adding machine does & is the perfect size.

This is the 2nd of the MP25DV that I have purchased. I would not have gotten a 2nd, if there had been anything else. You need to run all your totals at least 2 times, because the machine sticks and then adds the number twice. The subtract key sticks constantly. They are willing to replace it, with the same thing--who would want another one. Save yourself all the frustration and the time, by getting something else.

Canon was once my go to calculator, but the quality just isn't their anymore. We use 6 of these calculators at my store and all of the cheap plastic paper tears break. Paper stops feeding in 2 and buttons stick on another. I give them a break with one or two not 6 calculators. These are suppose to heavy duty. No more till they change their design. Maybe not even then.

In the last six months I have purchased 2 of these calculators for myself. Although I love the layout and featurs of this product, I have had problems with the subtract button sticking on both of the calculators. I exchanged the first one hoping it was a problem with only that one. I do not watch the keys/screen when using the calculator, therefore I am never sure when the button becomes stuck which causes me to have to start over with my work. I will be returning the second one in the near future.

The Canon MP25DV incorporates a fast, quiet, two-color, high-speed ink ribbon printing system to ensure quick and efficient calculations. When you are not calculating numbers, a built-in clock and calendar make it a very useful addition to your desktop.
With sophisticated built-in features such as tax and profit margin calculations, a 12-digit display and high-end durability, the MP25DV is always ready for business! It also includes a quick reference guide for main functions or for address book information.
