We use spools of Canare SDI cable. This L5.5CUHD has been great to work with. We invested in the Canare multi-cable stripper, ratcheting crimp tool, and the Crimp DIE SOLD SEPARATLY. Also must use Canare 5.5UHD BNC Terminations. This Canare Ecosystem is pricy but I have never had a cable fail in the 3+ years I have been using this system. Canare had done an amazing job creating a sustem that consistently produces quality cables. Especially when its critical repair time every second counts. Canare has never left us hanging! We make all our own cables for video signal distribution as this cuts the overhead of cable replacements. We teach young folks in our program how to field repair audio and video cables. The Canare termination system for BNC is the fastest picked up by the youngins(8 yrs+) If you can't make a great cable with the Canare system you may need a quick youtube refresher and you'll be making cables like a seasoned pro!

This coax cable features enhanced attenuation characteristics that allow transport of 12G signals at much greater distances than comparable sized coax. Cables are fully SMPTE ST-2082-1 compliant and hand crafted with Canare L-5.5CUHD miniature coaxial and BCP-D55UHD BNC connectors. A superb return loss at 12 GHz of 15 dB, 20 dB @ 6 GHz & 26 dB @ 3 GHz makes these cables perfect for 12G, 6G and 3G systems. Designed for Ultra High Definition and 4K signal transmission.
