The Canon MG8220 is a great long-lived home printer. This is the ink for plain black and white.

Save with the twin pack
After searching several sites, I found that the Canon website offered the best price for these cartridges. It was also helpful that a "twin" pack was offered because those tanks seem to run out much faster than all the others. Shipping time was also reasonable.

Expensive.

Canon Ink Cartridge Quality
I've had a Pixma MG8120 for years. The printing has always been great whether I'm printing documents or photos, color or B&W. The quality of the ink cartridges makes a big difference which is why I always use the Canon ink cartridges.

Too expnesive
I'm completely neutral on these ink cartridges. They do the job but are not exciting at all. However - they are entirely too expensive. There is really no reason for this other than the fact that once we've been seduced by the inexpensive printer, we're captive consumers.

Sent the wrong thing
I ordered the three-ink value pack for my MG5220 Canon printer. Unfortunately, what arrived was designed for a different printer and could not be used in mine. At the same time, I had ordered a single container of black ink and it was the correct item.
I sent the value pack back to the address from which it had been shipped—along with a note asking to have the correct pack sent. I have heard nothing since. I’m not very happy about that. It is not easy to communicate with you. I have no idea if this problem will be fixed or not.
