I've been using Platine for more than a decade because it produces saturated colors, a full range of tonalities, and a high maximum density black equal to most glossy surface papers. The "luster" surface has just the right amount of texture to break up reflections, similar to wet process glossy papers dried "matte" (face-down on the dryer transport canvas, or air-dried). No OBAs (optical brighteners) means that as the paper ages, the white base will not yellow as OBAs dissipate.

Canson makes nice paper, the Platine has the look and feel of a glossy fiber paper. The profiles from Canson worked well with my Epson P800. I look forward to trying their other papers.

Very fine visual resolution and tonality. The paper is very glossy, so not for those wanting a more toned down luster look.

Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag is a truly beautiful paper with a great look and feel. Both B&W and color prints have accurate color reproduction using Canson ICC profiles on my Canon Pro 4000 printer. If you are looking for an archival fine art paper to make your prints look their best, look no further.

First i purchased the big brother size 13 x 19, printed a couple then wondeed why I had not gone ahead and purchased the 8.5 x 11 to make proofs from ?? on my epson r2000. would you believe it, my epson began acting bad and the good folks at epson said take it to the service center—long story made short I ended up buying a Canon Pro 10 and waiting for it to arrive now—then I can start printing again with my Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag. The little bit I've printed on it— I like it—thats all I can say at this juncture.

I just finished printing out two images I'm going to enter in my photography clubs monthly contest. It's the first prints I've done on this paper and I am extremely happly with it. I printed it on my Epson R1900 using the "ultra premium luster" paper setting and the colors came out accurately reproduced, saturated, and vivid and the images are clean and crisp. If I continue to have this kind of success this will be my new "go to" paper of choice.

Canson makes great inkjet photo paper. I have a Canon MG6120 inkjet and have never had a problem with jams or bad results.

Before the advent of digital printing, photographers and graphic designers relied on traditional darkroom papers to produce high-quality prints. The Infinity Platine 100% Fibre Rag Bright White Smooth Satin Inkjet Paper, with its 310gsm weight and 24"x50' roll size, brings that same level of quality to the digital age. This premium paper, crafted by the reputable brand Canson Infinity, combines the best of both worlds - the aesthetic and feel of the original F-Type Baryta Fibre paper and the latest microporous coating technology.
This paper is a benchmark in the realm of Digital Darkroom papers, offering a true pure white tone without the use of optical brighteners. These brighteners are known to affect the longevity of digitally produced images, but with the Infinity Platine Fibre Rag, you can be assured of the consistency of shades for generations.
The paper's extremely high Dmax and exceptional grey tones make it the ideal choice for discerning black and white as well as color photographic prints. It's not just about aesthetics though; this paper is also designed with durability in mind. It's water-resistant, dries instantly, and is compatible with both pigmented and dye inks.
The Infinity Platine Fibre Rag is developed to meet gallery and museum longevity requirements and respects the ISO 9706 standard. It's internally buffered to resist gas fading, maximizing the conservation of your prints. Plus, it's acid-free certified to avoid paper degradation, ensuring your prints stand the test of time.
Whether you're a professional photographer or a graphic designer, the Infinity Platine 100% Fibre Rag Bright White Smooth Satin Inkjet Paper provides a versatile, affordable, and high-quality solution for your printing needs.
