Unlike the other about 50 reviews I did not receive the PR100-R free in return for a review. My cost was about twice that for similar presenters. However, having had less than stellar experience with three other presenters, I decided to try the Canon. I have had excellent customer support for their printers. Instructions confusingly combine English and Spanish, but more important are incomplete. There is no description of the screen icons, and no mention the screen goes blank in about 10 seconds. So to know the time left to talk you must press a button. There should be an option to keep the screen visible. This also means there is no visual indication the Presenter is on other than switch position. I am unsure of the function of the launch slide show button, and its function is not mentioned in the instructions. I do like that the computer connection is automatic - just insert the dongle.

I received this item for free to use as a trial and found it to be perfectly suitable for my use. I present occasionally in front of large groups for work and need a simple tool that will perform as expected, without too many bells and whistles getting in the way of the actual presentation. This definitely fits the bill.

This is an amazing presentation pointer. I do regular presentations for college students and I'm used to using the presentation pointers that the university provides. First, it's simple to set-up on any computer. The pointer has a usb dongle embedded in it, which you can slide out and put in the usb slot on the computer you're utilizing. The device works seamlessly from that point and its use is very intuitive. Also, the pointer has great range. I walked all around the lecture hall and I never found a spot that it wouldn't work from. However, these aren't even my favorite features. My favorite aspect of this pointer is the timer. Generally, my presentations are scheduled for between 30 minutes up to 2 hours. Often when I'm presenting I can lose track of how long I've been speaking, and end up going over my allotted time. This presentation pointer can be set for your scheduled time and will give you vibrating alerts at specific intervals. I believe for longer presentations it will give you a vibrate at the halfway point, but no matter the length of the presentation, it will vibrate at the 5 minute point and the 1 minute point. Such a great idea, and I'm surprised it hasn't been used more regularly. I must admit that I enjoyed using the pointer much more than I anticipated. Thankfully, I was offered the device as a free sample to review, but I would gladly purchase again if I ever lose this one.

I was given a Canon clicker to test out and review and I must say I was very impressed with how easy it was to set-up and start using. I`ve used other clickers and like the ability to not be attached to the podium while presenting. The Canon Presenter is very easy to use and the features it has are remarkable. If you are a big PowerPoint user it has an option on the remote for PowerPoint. If you are a Keynote user it has that option as well. The option I absolutely was impressed with was the timer option. You can set your time in the remote and it will vibrate once you are getting close to your end time. This is something that is great and doesn`t disrupt while giving a presentation. If anything it helped me with a smooth transition to close out my presentation on time. I would highly recommend this remote to anyone who gives presentations often.

I received a free item in exchange for my review. I find the green light to be easier on the eyes. I've had no trouble using it with Amy of my work computers. I love that it keeps track of the time. Intuitive to use. No problems at all.

I received a the Canon PR10-G Presenter Remote as a free sample in exchange for agreeing to write a review. I thought it was awesome. I had no issue with connection and the green laser was an easy color on the eyes. I believe this device was safe to use with less roon for any breach of confidential information because of it being wireless. I would definitely recommend this product.

The pointer has a built-in red laser pointer that is bright enough to be used in a well-lit room yet still be seen from the back of the auditorium. The transmission distance possible with the device is enough that the controls work properly over the space of a large stage so long as the computer is at the podium. If the computer is in the back of a large auditorium, you may find that you're too far away for the transmission to reach the USB device. However, with two fresh AAA batteries (included, I had no difficulties. There is a built in LCD timer which counts down from a time which you can easily preset in advance, with alarms automatically going off (quietly and with a vibration in your hand) as you reach 5 minutes and 1 minute prior to the end of your presentation, then again when time runs out. The entire device fits well in your hand and has a small nub on the forward button to allow you to move forward with slides without needing to look at the device. A slide switch on one side permits you to choose between MS PowerPoint and Apple Keynote operation. The entire device fits within a small protective zipped bag so that it can easily be carried with your laptop. An on/off switch saves battery power when the PR100-R is not being actively used. Overall, the unit works as promised. Five stars since it can quickly be set up without installing any software and operates intuitively.

First I must mention the packaging of this product. It was amazingly easy to access the laser pointer, unlike so many products nowadays that take 10 minutes to break into the packaging. It also came with the required AAA battery, so I was ready to get started without having to seek out the appropriate battery, and didn`t need special tools to install the battery. I have very little experience with synchronizing products to my computer, but pairing the pointer with my computer went very easily. I didn’t need to consult the instruction sheet at all before I was in business! The controls are intuitive and respond well, the buttons are not flimsy or loose like I’ve noticed on cheaper products, and the pointer rested comfortably in my hand during my presentation. The pointer is small and takes little space in my desk drawer, ready to be grabbed for my next presentation. This was sent to me free of charge in exchange for writing a review.

This simple gadget remote sure made my life easier doing large screened power point project presentations. I appreciate the Lazer Pointer the most. I do have to meantion I was provided this remote free of charge to give my honest review. It is a great item. I set a reminder when I only had a few minutes left which helped me tons. Wifi is great. I received this item as a free sample for agreeing to write a review on it. I work in an office setting and occasionally have to give presentations in my office or on the road. I often use a variety of media that includes my laptop and PowerPoint. I may use any number of other visual aids so having a laser pointer is really helpful to help guide the audience to the appropriate area I am speaking about. On the road I occasionally have to use another person’s laptop. Having said this, at this point I’ve used this device in multiple settings and it has worked fantastic. Every computer I’ve plugged it into it has installed correctly and just worked. It is intuitive and allows for easy navigation of PowerPoint slides. It is easy to store in my laptop carrying case. The USB interface is stored in the device but is easily separated so it can be plugged into the computer being used. The laser is easy to see for the audience. It comes with a small carrying case that is nice. Overall, I am very happy with this product and I do highly recommend for its intended use.

ACCESSORIES: 2 Maxell AAA alkaline batteries, case, USB adapter, instructions. I would prefer rechargeable AAAs or an internal rechargeable battery pack + USB charger, but at least you can get up & running right away. The neoprene type case & zipper feel sturdy, but I wish it had an outside pocket to store batteries when not in use to avoid corrosion (& so you don`t show up to do a presentation without batteries). The battery compartment is easy to remove & feels durable. It is nice that the USB RF dongle slides into the base of the remote for storage, but I do worry about dirt/oil build up (a sliding cover for the empty cavity would be great). DONGLE USB SETUP: When I plugged the dongle into a USB port on My 17` MacBook Pro, its auto-setup took 1-2 minutes (no software installation req.), but returned an unable to recognize keyboard error. I unplugged & reinserted the dongle & it then correctly recognized my keyboard with no further error messages. REMOTE USAGE: On the top left side is a slider with 3 modes: off, Keynote/Macs, & PPT/Windows. I also tried it in Google Docs with a FireFox browser & it worked! That`s great if you`re in a situation without the right software but have internet access. The only thing that didn`t work in Google Docs was the black screen command. On the top right side are two long buttons that control the timer functions (e.g., presentation length, star timer, time left check, reset timer). I liked the LCD screen: it is easy to read, you can verify your commands, see how many minutes are left, & a vertical red light bar shows when the laser is on. Having a combined PPT remote/laser pointer is a huge plus. Under the LCD is a big laser pointer button, a slide back/forward button, & two less intuitive white buttons. The left white button a) toggles between presentation or a black screen & b) turns the timer notification vibration on/off. It`s very confusing to have these unrelated functions on one button. The right white button is only used to start the slideshow. A more intuitive layout would move the vibration control on the right side with the other timer controls. 9 buttons may sound like a lot, but they offer a lot of control/customization options, & most are very intuitive. The timer counts minutes & seconds, & counts down backwards from the set presentation length. Gives a 5, 1, & no minutes left notification. It would be great if users could add additional notification intervals in the timer setup menu (e.g., notifications every 10 or 15 minutes so that I can pace an entire presentation/not try to squish everything into the last 5 minutes). I love that when the timer counts down to zero, it starts counting UP to let you know how far over time you are running. I tested distances from very close to 20 feet. Even in a partially lit room, the red RF beam was easily seen at any distance (great if you need some light to refer to notes or your audience needs to take notes). I don`t like that the screen goes black a few seconds after the last button press. While conserving batteries, it is really annoying if you just want to quickly glance at the timer without pressing a button & it makes my right thumb feel like it might move the power/OS toggle slider. However, the countdown timer does continue uninterrupted when the screen turns off. The black & white color looks VERY dated/1990s. I would prefer the black OR an silver (no 2-toneds, no white). SUMMARY: Although I received this unit in exchange for an unbiased review, I was quite impressed with it & would readily recommend it to others and buy one myself. The most functions are intuitive to use even without looking at the manual. Again, I would like the functions of the two front white buttons to be refined, more upscaled color options, a case that stores the batters outside of the unit, more timer controls, & a longer screen dimming interval. However, any gripes pale in comparison to all of the features packed into this little powerhouse.

I received a free sample of this Canon wireless presenter to review. I am a high school teacher and this presenter worked well for in class slide show presentations. It was easy to use and I did not have to install anything on my computer in order to use it. It allowed me to circulate around the classroom while making my presentation. I was able to use it with both a PC and a Mac. I would recommend this presenter to teachers who give frequent Power Point presentations in class.

I received a free Canon PR10-G Presenter Remote to use for this review. Overall, I found this product to work very well with any presentation. The laser appears to be sharper and much more precise as oppose to others I`ve used in the past. I also appreciate the LED timer, sleek professional design, and the vibration alert was definitely a nice addition. I recently received a free sample of the Canon Red Laser Wireless Presenter to review, and I couldn't be happier! I'm a teacher and this was a perfect product for me to test out in my classroom. I was easily able to learn how to use this with my SmartBoard. The volume control and slide operation buttons were easy to use. I was able to freely move around my classroom without worry of losing the signal. The red laser was bright and easy to see, as well. This would make a great addition to any office or classroom environment.

The laser shines bright and steady lasting for hours on end. The timing interface is clear and the vibration mode adds to the the alarm functionality. I am in the process of starting a non profit and having to `sell` our business all the time made my life so much EASIER!! I love my canon PR10 presenter remote. I didn`t even need to read the directions on how to use it or set it up! It comes pretty much ready to go and is self explanatory! Was surprised with the distance that I could walk away from my computer and it still was right on point. I enjoy working the room so this was one of my favorite features AND the fact that the laser didn`t become dim and barely noticable when I was in the back of the room. I was just as bright as if standing right in front of screen. Second best feature was the timer with vibration. I loved that I wasn`t having to check myself with the clock but could just look down when changing a slide and sneak a peak at where I was time wise. And if you don`t want to miss a beat! It can vibrate a certain time points as reminders! Everything else about it was lovely as well. Size worked well in my little feminine hands, color was sleek, weight, and color of laser set it apart from other lasers = I also received this as a sample to review.

I received this presenter in exchange for my honest review. I had to give a presentation at our local library, and prepped a PowerPoint presentation to use with it. This presenter is simple to use. Great laser pointer (the kids wanted to tease the cat with it endlessly. Set up is simple, a flash dongle thingamagig slides right out of the presenter and into the computer. Works with both Apple and Windows products. Love the travel case, pops in a pocket or purse easily. Makes it easy to conduct a presentation without having to stick close to your computer.

I received the presenter remote to review a few weeks ago. I am pleased with how it works. The timer is one of the options that I especially like. It is handy to have a timer that will also vibrate when time is ending. I am a high school educator and I had some students try the product out as well and they also enjoyed that option. Many of their presentations are on a time limit so they especially found it useful. Unlike some of the other presenter remotes I have used, this one also worked with the Google platform. We are a school that uses Google Chromebooks and Google Slides. It is convenient that I do not have to download the file and use PowerPoint but can continue to present while using a live, online document through Google. The laser pointer is nice to have, but not something I use often.

The free technology sample product that I received of the Canon red laser wireless presenter PR100-R in a nutshell is awesome! It is exceptionally user-friendly as I literally took it out of the package, plugged it in and it was good to go immediately thereafter. The features of the timer and vibration are great especially for me as I tend to be really passionate and involved during my presentations and can lose track of time. I am also one of the types that are fairly animated and like to move around and the wireless range of 50 feet was great I actually think it was longer than 50 feet because of where I was at certain times in the large conference room. The laser did seem more vibrant then others I have used. And another great thing to is the slideshow controls, Works fantastic without issue. It is also a great size can easily be slipped into a pocket when you go more Hands-On during presentations. I love this product and how easy it is to use and of course the extra functions. comparing this to previous ones I have utilized, it is by far superior with function, usability And design. I cannot think of anything that can be improved on as I had a great experience without any problems and it kept me on time as I mentioned before, I have a tendency to lose track of time and I don't like to lose focus from people I am doing a presentation for which can happen with my babbling at times.
