The RF 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye lens features a meticulously engineered folded optical design. The dual high-performance L-series fisheye lenses combine imagery onto a single image sensor, delivering impressive results to a single file. This unique feature simplifies your workflow by eliminating the need to sync and stitch multiple video files.
The lens and EOS R5 camera pairing enables high-resolution video recording at up to 8K DCI 30p and 4K DCI 60p. This lens is designed specifically to deliver outstanding stereoscopic 3D imagery, featuring dual 5.2mm fisheye lenses positioned with 60mm of spacing between Left and Right Lens centers. This provides an interpupillary distance closely resembling human vision with a natural parallax for a powerful, immersive experience.
The RF 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye lens is part of Canon's EOS VR System, which includes the EOS VR Utility software and the EOS VR Plug-in software for Adobe Premiere Pro users.
