Using the strap
This is a nice strap; good length; makes camera more manageable to use/carry. Worth having.

It's just a camcorder strap.
I bought it for my HF G10 Canon camcorder. I wish a carrying strap had been included with the purchase of the camera. Anyway, just to keep it all Canon-related, I bought this shoulder strap for toting the camera around. It's much better than keeping the camcorder in a tote bag or carrying it by the short hand strap on the camcorder itself. Plus, it is red and says Canon on it. The little clasps don't really grab tight, so make sure that you double them up somehow so that the camcorder doesn't accidently or intentionally get tugged right off your shoulder.
