The mount ring is exactly what I expected from Canon. A great product. I have been using nothing but Canon gear since I bought my first camera back in 1972. I have many Canon Cameras and lenses and other accessories and have never once, in almost 50 years, had any problems with any products. Your equipment has never failed me, never, and I do not expect it to. I just bought a 5D Mark IV, 70-300MML Lens and a 100MM Macro lens. I cannot wait for this quarantine to end so I can begin to use them. Thanks for manufacturing great reliable products. Keep up the great work.

It definitely improves the center of balance, great on windy days when using a tripod. The quality of manufacture is up to Canon L standards!

I use a Canon EF 28-300 for almost every shoot. I use it so much I wore out the felt ring on the inside of the lens ring. It became very sticking and hard to rotate the lens. I ordered a new tripod ring from Adorama. The lens works like out of box new again! Thank you Sy for finding and getting this to me to quickly!

Or course you need a good sturdy tripod but this allows you to balance the DSLR with the heavy Telephoto safely on the tripod. When mounting the camera to the tripod, we've seen the tripod head actually snap off if the camera has a heavy telephoto lens attach. This makes it nicely balanced.

It took forever for Canon to have this in stock. I mostly hand hold my 70-300, but when I want to use it on a tripod this collar really helps out. It is a much better balance and takes some stress off the camera body.
