The Canon 6812B002 VB-H41 Full HD PTZ IP Security Camera is a Pan/Tilt/Zoom network camera that brings a new level of performance and image quality to the security camera market. This ONVIF Profile S conformant product boasts a Canon 20x Optical Zoom and Canon's DIGIC DV III image processor producing the best image quality in its class.

This new lens was also designed to maximize the camera's low light performance, allowing the VB-H41 to provide color video down to 0.4 lux and black/white video down to 0.02 lux making it ideal for areas subject to the most challenging low light conditions.

The VB-H41 is loaded with sophisticated On-board Video Analytics and functions that allow the VB-H41 to be tailored to fit your monitoring needs, while SSL support and a built-in SD Memory Card slot add to the reliability and security of your monitored video. The VB-H41's 2.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor provides images with more detail than a VGA security camera and can be streamed with low bandwidth utilization and disk space usage thanks to the H.264 Codec.

ONVIF version 2.2 / Profile S Conformant
Third party integration is simple with the VB-H41 because it is ONVIF version 2.2 and Profile S conformant. As many system installations must be customized with products from different manufacturers, this allows the VB-H41 to be seamlessly included in such systems and permits the use of third party recording software systems. The ONVIF Profile S allows for easy identification of supported features without needing to know the compatibility of the different versions of ONVIF and includes specific features such as audio streaming and relay outputs.

The VB-H41's class leading image capture technology allows the camera to capture color video down to an impressive 0.01 Lux and black & white video down to a remarkable 0.001 Lux. You will see the incredible clarity of the video captured in even the most challenging low light conditions, indoors or outside at night. Adding to the low-light capability is the Auto Gain Control Limit, which allows the adjustment of digital gain to the maximum level when using auto exposure in low light environments.

On-board Video Analytics
The VB-H41 is packed with features which enhance its functionality and usability. Among the most useful are its sophisticated On-board Video Analytics, enabling the camera to detect Moving, Abandoned, or Removed Objects in its range of vision and also detect attempts at Camera Tampering and changes in Sound Levels. In addition, Passing Detection has been added to the list to enhance the monitoring capabilities of the VB-H41, allowing you to define a line to trigger an alert when it is passed in a defined direction. For increased control in monitoring sensitive areas, the VB-H41 also offers a Privacy Mask function. With it, you can block specific sections of the camera's field of view, to avoid intrusions of privacy, or password theft - even while executing P/T/Z operations.

DIGIC NET II Processor/DIGIC DV III Image Processor
DIGIC NET II and sophisticated image processor, DIGIC DV III, give the VB-H41 an advantage that is easy to see. DIGIC NET II is a powerful processor that allows the VB-H41 to simultaneously deliver both H.264 and JPEG video in high resolution 1920 x 1080 at the maximum frame rate of 30fps - with no loss in frame rate, unlike many competing models. DIGIC DV III is employed in class-leading video camcorders and unlike the image processing used in most security cameras, DIGIC DV III provides superior image quality with lifelike colors, tonal accuracy and reduced image noise - all with lower power consumption.

H.264 Codec
The H.264 Codec of the VB-H41 maximizes both image quality and data storage with superb image compression that delivers high resolution images with small data size. With low bandwidth utilization the benefits are obvious, giving you infrastructure cost savings as well as reduced data storage capability needs foremost while still delivering the best in video images. Adjustable I-frame intervals allow for maximum flexibility in bandwidth and storage utilization.

Image Stabilization
The Image Stabilization feature works to compensate for image blur caused by camera vibrations or movement. This is useful against building vibration or strong winds, as may occur when the camera is installed on an outdoor pole. Two levels of electronic image stabilization are fitted to the VB-H41 camera to accommodate varying levels of movement intensity.

Smart Shade Control
Smart Shade Control, or SSC, is an exclusive Canon technology that automatically adjusts images which may have a bright background by adjusting the gain of the underexposed areas without affecting the exposure of the properly exposed areas. This feature helps to make backlit images easier to see and vital areas of interest easier to monitor.

Auto Day/Night Capability
As the available light changes, the Auto Day/Night feature allow this camera to automatically adjust to maintain optimal image quality. A removable IR cut filter and optimized IR light reflection suppression coating allows for exceptional low light visibility with minimal ghosting.

For added ease in control of the VB-HM41, the camera supports the optional third-party Joysticks for controlling Pan/Tilt/Zoom and Presets.

Various Power Options
The VB-H41 gives you great installation flexibility as it will accept a variety of power options. Whether your situation works best with 12vDC, 24vAC or Power over Ethernet, it will accommodate your needs. The low power consumption of the VB-H41 allows the use of standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af), enabling a single LAN cable to both power the camera and transfer video and audio data. Connecting to a Power over Ethernet switch or injector eliminates the need to run AC connections to installation sites of the cameras. This can help keep installation costs to a minimum.

Full Duplex Two-Way Audio

RM-Lite 2.0 Network Video Monitoring and Recording Software
