Really easy to use once you learn. Take time to know your camera. Quality is EXCELLENT! We use it for Real Estate video. With the NG filter you can go from low light to outside light ands get a GREAT shot. I would recommend this company and its products. Very good experience and liking it!!!!

The first time i looked at the footage of a floatplane that just took off it made me think of watching an adventure show on tv. the quality was like looking through a window. the only thing is it dose not do well in low light conditions.

I bought this with the intent to digitize home 8 mm films using my Workprinter XP, but also to use as documenting musical events, as well as to create video music lessons. The quality of the image created by this camera is phenomenal, the flexibility in the color space. Although this records to tape, which is a bit slower than having an SD card, the quality of this camera is so outstanding that it trumps the DV hassle. I am also using the 1080i output to go into my computer for the film digitization, which bypasses tape. For the times I go mobile, the tape will be adequate, and also has the advantage of archiving the video in tape.

I recently bought 6 of those camcorders. Great Semi-Professional camcorder for low price. My problem is that 5 of 6 had a dead pixels, hard to see on small screen but easy to see on big tv it should be a recall from Canon. Canon 5D has simular problem when you start analizing video taken by this camera. Anyway in my opinion it one of the best camcorder on market and adorama like always provide the best product and service.
