STEVE T : It looks like the bracket doesn't raise the flash much higher than the on camera flash mount.  Is this an issue or a negative relative to other flash brackets which raise the flash further away?

Is there room to work the zoom ring comfortably on a 24-70 2.8 or the 70-200 2.8 lenses?JEFFREY M : Absolutely.DON H : I use it with a Canon 5D Mark III with battery grip, 24/105 f4 and 70/200 f2.8.ROOSEVELT J : Don't know about the D750, I have used it successfully with a D700 with grip as well as the D3s and D4s. All three bodies also had the 24-70 or 70-200 lens attached. No problem.

Highly Recommened Flash Bracket

I found out about this bracket for my Canon EOS-1 D cameras. It fits perfectly. Even the Adorama salesperson knew how to explain it. The company itself also has excellent customer service. I used it last weekend and it worked really well. Both horizontally and Vertically.

Great light weight bracket

I have a JustRite bracket but it doesn't fit my new Canon EOS 1Dx. Plus the JustRite bracket is heavy at 2lb 4oz. The Custom Brackets RF-Pro is light weight at 10.5 oz and is well engineered. The RF-Pro fits my big Canon EOS 1Dx, although if they make camera's any bigger it might not fit. The adjustments are within fractions of the max. But it fits my 1Dx. The slide from landscape to portrait is easy and smooth. There are detents that hold the flash at 0 degrees, 45 and 90 degrees. The detents are easy to move into and through. The bottom plate is not too bulky and comfortable in your hand during use. I can still reach my vertical shutter button with no problem. I think it was engineered with a vertical grip in mind. Did I say if was light weight at 10.5 oz. When your camera, lens and flash weight 6 1/2lbs the weight of any bracket has to be light. Used the RF-Pro at a dance tonight and what a pleasure to use. I think I have purchased my last flash bracket. I highly recommend the Custom Brackets RF-Pro. Time will tell how well the RF-Pro will last.
