About Clear-Com E-IPA-HX License

The E-IPA-UG-16-HX is a field-upgrade license for Clear-Com's E-IPA-HX high-density IP-interface card in the Eclipse HX matrix system. It enables an existing E-IPA-HX card to increase its licensed port capacity by 16 additional IP ports (in increments of 16) up to the card's maximum. By purchasing this upgrade you expand the connectivity of your intercom matrix system (including endpoints, panels, wireless beltpacks, third-party AoIP devices, SIP clients, etc.) without replacing the physical card.

This upgrade license is ideal when your system demands more IP-endpoints (intercom panels, mobile clients, wireless beltpacks, SIP trunks or AES67/SMPTE 2110 streams) and you already have an E-IPA-HX card installed but licensed for fewer ports than required. The license is applied via the Eclipse HX Configuration Software (EHX) and will reflect in the card's front-lens port count.
