The P70 Steering Pedestal is renowned for its super-smooth drive, making it an ideal companion for easy travelling. Despite its lightweight design, it provides exceptional stability, delivering superior performance with any camera or lens combination up to 75 Kg (165 lbs).
The air-filled, "on-shot" column is not only fast but also safe to operate. It works with Nitrogen or clean compressed air, which can be loaded with any compressor or a simple hand pump. A safety air pressure valve is included to prevent the risk of air overpressure.
The innovative column design of the P70 Steering Pedestal offers outstanding stability and jerk-free control, ensuring smooth and precise movements. The sturdy dolly is equipped with three sets of double 12.5 cm (4.9 in.) diameter heavy-duty wheels, individually lockable and cast with an innovative bi-component polyurethane mix for enhanced steering.
The Focus 22 Fluid Head is specifically designed to support a wide variety of new Electronic News Gathering (ENG) cameras. Compact yet fully accessorized, it features the patented CARTONI "wing" continuously adjustable counterbalance. With its broad range of payloads - 3 kg (6.5 lbs) to 22 kg (48.5 lbs) - the Focus 22 is the perfect partner for all news gathering and outdoor shooting jobs.
The Fluid Head is rugged yet easy to operate, with all the ergonomic settings placed conveniently. Fluid drag in both pan and tilt feature the distinctive renowned CARTONI patented infinitely adjustable labyrinth system. It comes with positive locks, a wide range sliding platform incorporating the European style quick release plate, and a switchable illuminated spirit level.
