With the Cartoni P70 Steering Pedestal and Master MK2 Fluid Head, you're investing in a professional-grade, high-quality camera support system that's both durable and versatile. This updated version of the best-selling P70 is a compact, portable steering system designed for a variety of studio and OB applications. Its super-smooth drive ensures easy traveling, while its lightweight yet sturdy construction can support camera and lens combinations up to 75 Kg (165 lbs).
The P70's air-filled, "on-shot" column operates quickly and safely, using either Nitrogen or clean compressed air. This can be loaded with any compressor or the included manual hand pump. A safety air pressure valve eliminates the risk of overpressure, while the innovative column design offers exceptional stability, jerk-free control, and precise movements.
The robust P70 dolly features three sets of double 12.5 cm (4.9 in.) diameter heavy-duty wheels, each individually lockable. The wheels are cast with a bi-component polyurethane mix for enhanced steering. An advanced design chain ensures accurate traveling in crab position, even "on shot". The system is compatible with all flat base, 4-bore hole heads or any other bowl-based head with an adapter.
The Master MK2 Fluid Head is Cartoni's ultimate fluid head, designed specifically for HD, Film, ENG, and EFP camera systems. It can counterbalance cameras from 3 Kg (6.6 lbs) to 35 Kg (77 lbs), making it suitable for everything from the smallest HDV camera to fully loaded RED, Alexa, F65, C300 cameras, and more. The frictionless variable fluid modules offer a wide range of fluid drag for smooth and precise movement in any shooting situation. All operating knobs and levers are conveniently located for user-friendly ergonomics. The Master MK2 comes equipped with one telescopic pan bar, a standard quick-release sliding camera plate, an illuminated spirit level, and digital readouts for drag and counterbalance settings. It has a flat Mitchell standard base and an available 150mm bowl converter, making it suitable for all leg options and dollies.
