I really tried to like these Stabilo CF tripod legs. I mated them to a Sachtler 75mm bowl head and was immediately shocked by how flimsy these legs felt. The bowl surround is made of plastic, the head casting and spider flex when panning more than any other non-spreader style legs I have used. The leg locks didn’t hold and were difficult to free if tightened and, worst of all, the legs rotated when trying to loosen the locks. All in all, I was very disappointed with these legs. Fortunately, Adorama was very understanding and issued me a full refund (mainly due to the manufacturer shipping what, I believe, was a demo unit to me). Cartoni should have have named these legs “Unstabilo” because that’s how they really felt. Going back to Miller or Sachtler instead. Sorry, Cartoni.
