I have an entry-level telescope, that I've owned for a couple of years. I had never used it, because I really couldn't get the motorized tripod mounting to work. The tripod and motor were an integrated unit, so it was impossible to use without the electrical portion. This tripod was easy to set up and works -- finally I can use the telescope! The Coronado Altazimuth Mount with slow motion cables is an aluminum mount with a stainless steel tripod, that is perfect to use with your Coronado P.S.T. or SolarMax II. The mount comes with dual slow motion control cables with knobs on both axes for fine movements and a pan handle design for coarse movements.
