Great for Biking

I wanted a light weight back pack to hold just a few pieces of my Pentax gear while biking. This bag fits the bill perfectly. It will hold my K-5 attached with my DA*16-50 along with an FA 31 and DA*50-135 in the upper zippered cavity. You can also carry a lightweight jacket or food in the upper zippered pocket instead of the extra lenses. What's really nice about this bag is the interior compartment can be made into one single large compartment by simply unzipping an internal wall to allow for long lenses to be attached to your camera like my F*300 or similar long telephoto lens. You can also hook a tripod to the side of the bag as well. I really like the quick zip opening on the side that allows quick access to your camera for shooting.

I dig it. Very compact.

I bought this as an every day camera bag that I could also use for day hikes. I don't want to lug ALL my gear, just one extra lens, battery, a sandwich etc. It took me while to organize the spacers in order to fit my Canon T3i with 55-200 lens but it fits nice and snug. My Pros: - very compact - has extra pockets for snacks etc. - There is a pouch to tuck those lower waist straps into if you dont want to use them. - water blatter pocket - looks about as cool as a dual purpose backpack can get. My cons: -Water blatter pocket is tiny. The bottom half where the camera goes is to skinny the bladder doesn't really fit. Get a 70oz /2 liter or smaller. Definitely not the 100oz /3 liter they recommend.
