Celestron Origin Filter Drawer Kit

The Celestron Origin Filter Drawer Kit is the same removable drawer included with every Celestron Origin telescope, now available as a standalone accessory so you can replace a lost drawer or keep a second one ready to go. By preloading different filters into separate drawers, you can swap filters in seconds.

This kit includes new magnets that must be installed before use. Attach the magnets to the drawer using epoxy glue (not included), taking care to confirm the correct polarity, and allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before inserting the drawer into the filter housing.

The drawer accepts standard 1.25" and 2" filters, giving you the flexibility to use light-pollution and narrowband filters when imaging nebulae from suburban skies. For broadband targets like galaxies and star clusters, or when imaging under darker skies, simply switch to a drawer with Origin's included clear filter installed to maximize light throughput and brightness.

By keeping an extra drawer preloaded with your preferred filter, you avoid unthreading filter cells in the dark and reduce the risk of damage.
