Wasted money
I bought this for my A21R flashlight from 2020, I needed a spare battery for it, only to find out it's the same one in the Amazon Marketplace by Master Cuttlery, the problem is it doesn't give off the same brightness as the PN# 21439 battery, they said this is the alternative since they don't produce the 2149 anymore, I already have 2 of this and just added another one which is of no use! wasted money, hopefully next time they will clear it out on the description that it won't work on the A21R

Coast lithium rechargeable
ZX800 battery works just fine as do all Coast rechargeable lithium batteries.They offer decent run times and and std discharge while not being used is slow which is a good thing.

A little annoyed
These are not compatible with the newer a25r, (the one currently on this website) only the old one. When you put these in the current a25r the flashlight will not shut off no matter how many times you press the button.

Great battery
I have owned a coast flashlight for a lot of years now, the batteries that coast offers are long lasting and very dependable. I would recommend this to anyone for work or home.

Need parts
I bought two batteries so I could keep one charged at all times but after a while one quit charging. I unsnapped the case to find the charging board side turned all green so I’m figuring it needs a new board. I tested the 18650 battery in it and it’s still good. Is there a way to buy parts for it?

both battery's the plug insert is loose and will not charge. I tried two plugs and I see its inside the battery that is bad and loose. They no longer charge. This must be some kind of manufacturer issue as its both battery's part 19704

It works perfectly. I bought two, so that one can be kept charged at all times and ready to swap out when the other needs charging. I think the ability to do this battery pack or AAAs is exceptional.

Coast Battery Pack
Its very convenient and better than carrying spare batteries. It gives you many hours of different levels of lighting.
