It's a good size for night stand use. It stopped working a few years after purchase. I read they have a lifetime warranty. Connected with them, they asked for a Pic and a little info and Badda Bing they replaced it charging only shipping. Coast....you have a lifelong customer. Seriously.

After purchasing 3 of these units the first one I loved it, worked for a few months the quality seems there, and nice and bright but for somw reason stopped working, I replaced the batteries even tho they were not dead, cause sometimes the connection can get bad, I feel like it's the switch mechanism. Any how on my 3rd unit and it stopped working as well.

I've had my G26 about a year and it's worked great every night. I recently sat down in my carport and it fell out of my pants pocket. It no longer works. Replaced the batteries still nothing. Just thought it should be a little more shock resistant. Might be the bulb but can't find a replacement. Oh well.

For the last 5-6 years ive been using the g26 flashlights,. They are good when they work. recently i got the another new one for warranty . I have to pay $15 dollars . Thats ok, but the first week fail gain the same thing. Im not pretending get more warranty, for me this is unsane , how come you keep having the exactly the same issue in your products.

The G25, and now the G26 are great flashlights. However, battery corrosion is a recurring theme is warranty complaints. Perhaps you should put a plastic sleeve for the batteries to prevent corrosion damage to the light.

Purchased G25 six months ago at Home Depot and the light will not turn on. Cleaned all contacts on battery and flashlight. Now basically a paperweight.

This is my every night carry as an Aircraft Technician. It gets exposed to the elements, chemicals, an occasional drop and doesn't miss a beat. The 400+ lumens are great for close work. And for the warranty , Coast products can't be beat.

My original defective flashlight had a switch that quit functioning properly. This item had been discontinued by Coast and they quickly and generously sent me a brand new and upgraded model of a better flashlight than the one I originally purchased. This item arrived within a few days of my dispute which completely resolved my issue. Thank you Coast for your outstanding customer service. I am a loyal Coast customer and will remain so. Your products are the best and brightest I've found. I only wish y'all manufactured tactical shooting lights for firearms use.

I have purchased numerous Coast products and have consistently been impressed with the quality craftsmanship that goes into their flashlights. The Coast G26 400 Lumen flashlight is an excellent product. In my experience, it outperforms and is brighter than the G32 465 Lumen flashlight. The only drawback I have noticed with the G26 is the lack of a flood mode; it only offers a beam. However, this beam is significantly brighter compared to the G32 465 Lumen flashlight. Additionally, I find the G26 to be lighter than most flashlights I've ever handled. One of my favorite features of the G26 is its battery efficiency. It only requires two AA batteries, which are standard and have a longer lifespan compared to larger flashlights with a thousand lumens that often require numerous batteries. Although I am not deeply immersed in the flashlight world, I am eager to see more outstanding products from Coast.

I baught one of these a few months ago for work as an automotive technician to replave my warn out led mag light, and absolutely love it! Its light, easy to turn on and off and even fit perfectly in my old sheath from my old light. It stopped turning on one day and I contacted the company for a warranty and there was zero issues with them replacing it. The only issue I had is that I felt lost without it and went and baught another one before my replacement got delivered. Great price, warranty and customer service!!

This is good example of a no-frills budget friendly flashlight. lumen output is good and it's small enough to fit in your pocket comfortably. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I feel like the knurling around the base should be more aggressive to give you a better grip.
