I bought 2 batteries because I had a good flashlight But since l received the batteries my flashlight will not work unless you bump it on the ground then it only comes on for a second does same thing with both batteries but worked great with other battery before I broke charging port

Great Battery

Enjoying the added current from the this battery over the alkalines. Light is a little Whiter and Brighter now, just as I'd hoped for. Very Happy with this battery and it only took 3 hours to charge @ 1A.

Love it conditionally

I purchased a replacement for one that stopped working when I dropped my flashlight off a ladder about 20 feet off the ground. My coast flashlight was fine but the ZX700 stopped working. I was so upset that I lost it. Wish it was more durable.

Got this rechargeable battery with the Polysteel 600 flashlight. I haven't had much opportunity to use it much yet but my initial impression is very positive. It recharges quickly, and even acts as a USB charger for other devices. Looking forward to using the flashlight/battery combo soon.

Poor design and

Bought a Coast Polysteel 600 from Snap On 5 years ago. This battery that came with it broke about 2-3 years ago. Decided to take it apart after diagnosing it and discovered the battery would take a charge but not put out any power. The craftsmanship of this battery is honestly pathetic. The soldering job is terrible. The port for the charger was corroded and not mounted to the board anymore. I love the flashlight it came in but this battery needs a series redesign. Now I can't decide wether to waste money on another junk battery or buy a whole new coast flashlight or go with stream light.

First time I tried recharging it...

Lasts a long time on a charge, but first time I tried recharging it, the micro USB broke. I thought it just took a second for the light to turn on, but then I went to unplug and discovered the socket at the end of my cord.

Battery recharging connection is substandard

I purchased the Coast Polysteel 650R flashlight which came with this ZX700 rechargeable battery. This battery?s recharging port was so tight making it difficult to plug into and not making a clean contact and thus NOT recharging. Now today the entire connection broke inside the battery rendering it useless. The battery's connection to the recharging cable is completely SUBSTANDARD! I see by other reviews that this has been an issue. So much for Coast's lifetime guarantee... this rechargeable battery should NOT fail after only one year of part time use.
