Coast HP2/HP3 Black Pocket Clip

I carry my HX5(s) everyday clipped into my jeans pocket. Gradually the (awesome) clip loses its springyness. After 4 or 5 years of everyday use it needs replacement. These original clips bring old flashlight back to new condition.

I thought I was ordering the G20 but ?? I got the clip ! I tried to use it to fix my HP Printer but there was no more light than from the room light as it was before I ordered the clip. Now then I said "this can't be right" so I contacted the help folks! They understood immediately and sent me the light to fit the clip! But they included another clip so the one I now have will end up on eBay I guess?? Anyway I'm waiting for new ink cartridges that may make the printer work again but if that don't work I will have spent a lot of money on pen (light) & ink! Maybe I should just stick with the good old tried and true way of writing ??? ????

I aplaud Coast for manufacturing replacement parts for thier products. I recently broke my clip to my HX5. I was able to go straight to the website and order a replacement. Maybe its just been years since my original clip, but I could swear the replacement was even better than the original! The retention is fantastic and the over all fit and finish was spot on. Coast I have to say sometimes it's the little things, the details that fall through the cracks with larger manufacters and companies. You have knocked it out of the park and earned yourself a life long customer.

I bought this clip since I misplaced my other one. I do not remember it being this loose. When adjusting zoom, the clip will slide off. I don't know how it could be improved.

Fits just like the original did before I bent and broke it. I love how I can attach it to my hat and my pocket with the double direction clip. Ingenious design!

Clip broke because I think the bill of my ball cap was to thick when I tried to slip it on. Ordered a new one for $3.00 and paid $4.95 for pricey shipping may have better just buying a whole new flashlight. So be careful when attaching to anything that might be to thick.

I have the hx5 and its probably the best flashlight I've ever had and i have been in maintenance for over 20 years i use it daily its small lightweight and it's hands free hat clip makes it worth its weight in gold i recommend coast flashlights to anyone that would listen

My son tried to put the light on his hat and the clip broke. Coast replaced the clip under warranty. Warranty exchange was fast and no hassles.

I have purchased 4 of the HX5 flashlights over the past 3 years and they all still work and perform awesome. I have had 3 of the pocket clips break and need to replace them. They are excellent flashlights and I carry them everyday in my front pocket. I use them taking out the trash, hunting, fishing, working outside at night, and inspecting equipment during the day. I have one taped to a pellet pistol for outdoor varmint control.
