Recieved the holder an yes top terminal a little short! Easy fix take nipple off old carrier an slips rite of top of new 1! Problem solved

I have had to replace several of these as the metal tap conducting the negative portion of the battery keeps breaking at the bend. I think it is from metal fatigue. Maybe a better design is called for.

Coast stood by there warrantee, replaced the LED flashlight. I ordered a replacement battery holder for one my other Coast lights with no problem.

I bought 2 of these to see if I could repair our Polysteel 600 flashlights which had stopped working after we left batteries in them for too long and had some internal corrosion had occurred. The new Polysteel 600 battery cartridges did the trick and both flashlights are working perfectly again. YAY!

I bought the only battery cartridge I could fine. It didn't fit. I let Coast know. Coast sent me a whole new flashlight.

Bought two Coast 600 flashlight at Sam's Club several years ago. One of them started to operate intermittently a I found that corrosion from leaky batteries destroyed the contacts. Couldn't fix it. Couldn't find my receipt anywhere, but oh well! Looked for replacement and found you guys still had them available at a reasonable price. Couldn't find a part number on the flashlight anywhere to verify that I was getting the right one and I just went by your online photo of the Polysteel 600 Alkaline Battery Cartridge. Got it and it worked just like new. I may have to order a second one cause my other flashlight is starting to act up. It's proven to be a good reliable and rugged flashlight, that's why I've hung on to these two. Don't know if the Lithium Ion cartridge you sell will work on this older LED flashlight.

Opened it to see if the batteries were loose and found that the plastic container that holds the batteries was shattered. Contacted the company and bought a new battery holder for $5.00. Bad thing is it cost me another $5.00 to get it shipped to me. But it worked! Replaced the batteries in the new holder and the light is just as new.

The original battery cartridge was damaged by a leaking battery. The replacement cartridge was easy to order, inexpensive, and well made. It brought my HP7 flashlight back to perfect.

Looked ok, but description not so great or I missed it. I needed one that would hold 6 AA batteries, this only held 4 and would not work in my light.
