On 2/19/21 I purchased this FL85R Rechargeable Headlamp this product is the first and one most important tool I grab at night leaving for work i have been in the heavy equipment repair industry for 24 years I'm in the elements raining, snowing, heat, and cold year round If it breaksdown it's got be fixed no matter if it's towards end of shift meaning it makes for a lot longer shift. The comfortability, workmanship, versatility and the quality of the FL85R is a STEP ABOVE TOP TEIR it lights up the night (FL85R is GOAT)

Failed at a bad bad time
I really want to love this light. It's comfortable, rechargeable, and has the right light selections for farm life. My first one lasted fourish months. Customer service was quick and easy to replace. The replacement they sent me failed tonight after less than a month. In a silvopasture. 10 pm. Copperhead season. I'm disappointed.

Unreal light!
Best headlight I've ever owned. Great value. Brightest light and awesome battery life. I've used it a ton since my last charge--over the last month I've turned it on for 20-40 minutes at a time a half dozen times after using it daily for hunting season. Blown away its still cooking. Can't recommend it enough.

Great in the outdoors
Currently on a 2 week bow hunting trip and have used this head light already to track a deer my partner shot, great and bright light and I love the different brightness options.

Didn't include batteries
Says it include triple a batteries. It does not. It wasn't packaged very well either. It's almost as if was used. I went and bought batteries and it is really bright. Serves its purpose

Great addition to my previous Coast lights
Great light, lots of power, has adjustable zoom, 3 power levels and hands free! I like the rechargeable battery. These are the best headlamp I have used and are very durable .

Great headlamp for fishing and backpacking trips. Awesome battery life. My headlamp did die while in Patagonia due to moisture. COAST was awesome and honored the warranty. Great customer service and replacement works great!

Multi purpose headlamp
Great headlamp not only around the ranch but for security, tracking blood trails, and spotting animals that can cause a threat to livestock, poultry, and humans. Use nightly would definitely recommend since the one has a higher plumes and the tri color

Great headlamp
This is a great headlamp! I have had many headlamps from a bulky 4D light to the present FL85R I love it is compact, the flood to a beam light and the green and red light options. I like the rechargeable and 3 triple A battery option. By far the best light.

Great all around light
I love the improvements on this one, it goes on the wall as one of my favs. Some of my lights I use in the winter and some in the summer, this one is all season because of the green light to keep mosquitoes at bay

Excellent light
Very nice light very bright, the white light mode button is stiff or something. Definitely recommend quality products pretty good value has a lifetime warranty which Ive used on other lights.

Light is a bit large for a headlamp. Battery does not last but a few hours and the controls are not easy to manipulate. Red and green light separate button is confusing and lights are not very bright/ useful. The focus is convenient and lamp is bright when battery is fully charged . Will not be my first choice of headlamp to use. I use the lamp for work and nightly walks with dogs.

Great for outdoor use especially fishing.
Love the FL85R ability to recharge with battery in place, or put a fresh battery in and charge the battery you took out.the beam focus is an excellent quality. You can not go wrong with this purchase for outdoor use.

This is my first rechargeable Coast headlight. I have had Coast battery powered headlights in the past, and they worked great as well. This is the most powerful headlight I have. The mode buttons are easy to operate while wearing gloves.I like that once I select a mode, the next button press goes right to off and I don't have to step through any remaining modes. The charge port on the bottom is nice, but the charge status light isn't visible when this is used. Has a very robust headband. The red and green modes are nice for night vision and close in work. Very satisfied with this light.

Lightweight and effective
I bought this for waterfowl hunting and needed a good distance spotlight that was bright and went a good distance. So far very happy with this headlamp. It is lightweight and easy to use. Having the red and green is helpful in the early morning hours when trying not to mess up ability to see at night. Having the rechargeable battery is great but the option of using regular batteries for backup is perfect for when out and battery runs down. Would definitely recommend.
