I bought one back in 2019, worked perfectly, never had issues with this light. About 2 weeks ago stopped working (i assume the problem was with chip or something). I contacted Coast warranty, explained the situation and guys, they sent me brand new FL75R light instead of FL60R, because it was out of stock. Big thanks to Coast crew for a prompt response and it's a pleasure to do business with you guys.

The power button works to turn it on but then not to dim it or turn it off. I had to remove a battery to turn it off. Very disappointing.

I have already bought flashlights, lanterns, knife and now this head lamp. We don't know what the future holds but I definitely want to be able to shine a light in the darkness. I added this item to what I already have because it enables a person to be hands free. Coast is a good company that produces quality goods for anyone.

Great light, feels sturdy but lightweight. My only issues is that the rechargeable battery pack doesn?t last long enough for a days use. Even when I toggle through to the lower setting, the light fades and becomes very dim after about 60-90 minutes of continuous use. I don?t mind charging my headlamp every night, buts it?s a pain when I am working in an attic midday and all of a sudden it fades and I can barely see. Probably won?t order this particular headlamp again.

Paid full cash price for this light at my local Walmart. Heard many good this about this brand. Was in the market for a headlamp. Mainly for recreational night fishing. Figured I didn't need anything too crazy. This one fit the bill. Got home and the first thing I noticed was how difficult the internal plastic packaging was to open. Almost cut myself on it. Second I read in the instructions to put the battery pack on charge until the light on the battery turns green. It didn't take long. So I put it in the headlamp. It doesn't specify clearly how the rechargeable pack goes in. So I guessed to match the plus to the plus. It fit. But when I pressed the power button I got nothing. It included 3 alkaline batteries. So I decided to give them a try. To my surprise they worked just fine. Tried the rechargeable pack again. Nothing. So it's official. This is not a rechargeable headlamp even though it's listed all over the box. Definitely not something I'd expect from COAST.

Very bright little light! Use it for night fishing. It lasts all night using it intermittently to check poles and bait. Even with flood beam you can see people's poles on both sides of you as well.

This seemed to be a great light. My wife bought it for me for my BDay. Nice bright light, adjustable (up and down), strong but soft head band. As the package says it’s a Wide Beam which is “NOT ADJUSTABLE” and that just will not work for me. I use the narrow beam much more than a wide beam and ideally any good work or play light is going to need an adjustment. The words adjustable on the box means adjustable up and down not beam wise so it can throw off a buyer. This is a very well constructed light though made to last. Making one that has an adjustable beam is harder to make and keep it water resistant, it would also make the price go up. If the beam width is not important to you then this may be your light.

Bought the headlamp about 2 months ago, I used it shoeing horses in barns that don't have the best lighting. I put the AAA's that were included in the package in the light and used if for about 30 minutes. It started to flash and I assumed that it was a battery level indication. I charged the battery pack that came with it and once it was charged, you can press the power button and it would only stay on if you held it. Every time you would release pressure it would shut off. I tried new AAA's and same problem.

Just purchased this one. So far the light output is excellent. My only drawback is this model doesn't have an adjustable beam, other than that it definitely does it's job.

Bought this unit a month ago. It claims water resistant but had it on when checking a ac unit got rained on for a few mins and haven’t been able to get it to work. Will not buy again.

So I haven't had this that long, a few weeks, but it is super bright. I like the small form and the fact that it can be rechargeable or not is great. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the lack of a focus ring for the light. It's a huge floodlight. And for me that's annoying. I mostly use it while walking the dogs at night through the neighborhood. But even when camping I like to narrow the beam so as not to effect everybody else around me. Maybe I'm asking for too much? I have a super cheap light that I really like that is bright and has the focus ring, and is rechargeable, but it's not as small and the batteries sit in a pack behind the head.

So i bought this for my brother as a gift for his birthday and he loves it, its bright enough for whatever the job has him do. Unfortunately he hold me the battery life sucks on the rechargeable battery and explained to me that on high mode it lasts only 30 minutes when it starts to dim then 1 hour its turns itself off. He wakes up on Saturday's at 2:00am and he needs every bit on light he can get but it only lasts less than a hour. Good light thought but battery life horrible. Ive increased the rating on the light but the battery is the problem.
