I purchased this light around 2016. The flashlight is still one of my favorites. It is a very strong constructed flashlight. I use this light mainly for automotive work and while working in dark areas. This flashlight has performed very well. I still have the original Coast extreme AAA batteries in it. The flashlight is very useful with a twist of the front bezel to direct the beam for a more precise spot. I absolutely love the polysteel 200. And would purchase again or upgrade to the 500.

This is my EDC flashlight. It's great for me, but I will say that it's a little bulky to be in most people's pockets. It's the perfect size to sit inconspicuously in a belt pouch. It's saved me on a couple of occasions, including one time when I had forgotten a backpack and had to run 1/2 mile in the pitch dark with it on the side of the road in rural New Hampshire. I did have a bit of a hang-up with the first one, but Coast customer service has been very responsive. Best customer service I've ever interacted with, I daresay.

I've had this flashlight for years. It's been so dependable and practically indestructible. We have skunks in our area and this flashlight fits right in my pocket and is invaluable when taking our dogs out for their nightly walk. It's avoided several run-ins. I love it such much, I've bought them as Christmas gifts

I bought two polysteel 200s years ago. I use them every day. They're good in all weather conditions and can chunk them down in mud or sand and not worry after you rinse them off. The optics are not great. The battery life is okay (get rechargeable batteries if using often). After about 4 years, they developed an issue where the lights would shut off and I had to shake them or slap them to turn them on. Wrapping the AAA battery bank with a piece of paper envelope helped some so that the battery bank didn't slightly shake against the interior of the flashlight. But the flickering issue still occurred when batteries ran low. I notified coast of the issue and they sent two new ones out. My old flashlights still look almost brand new after this much time. I will continue buying and recommending Coast flashlights.

I haven't owned this flashlight long enough to provide a proper review of its features, but experience to date seems to indicate that it succeeds where others have not; namely in the field of durability. My experience with other such lights has been disappointing: one drop onto the floor and they no longer work. This has happened twice - annoying inasmuch as they aren't cheap. I am not by nature a flashlight abuser, but I do confess to clumsiness - the cause of its recently falling to the floor. It still works!

Very nice little utility light. I drive a truck and use it daily on my pretrip and loading the hopper trailer so i can see the weight gauge. Used in all kinds of weather and it's held up nicely.

This is my second one, I've been using this flashlight for years and I'm very pleased with it. It started with using it for a nighttime vision, but it's helped me throughout some rough times of homelessness living in the woods where I really needed it. I also learned how to hold it on my shoulder with my cheek so I could have my hands free to do whatever I needed to do. Can be attached to my back pack so I have easy access to it yet don't lose it.
