it is an ok light, little big for everyday around the house use. I much preferred the coast flashlight company that made the hp5r and hp7r that included a charging block and holsters, but alas that company doesn't seem to be in business anymore. the size of the 5 and 7 made them much more usable to me

It's a high performance durable flashlight, with plenty of battery for any situation plus the battery is rechargeable. This is my go to every day use flashlight. It's so nice my wife told me she wanted one of her own.

HP10R is one of my favorites, it's light for the size of flashlight, and it's nice and bright. Nice tight focus beam which shines pretty far and bright for the lumens.

This is a great light, the only thing I can say negative about it is that the plug in for the USB port should be bigger most of my plugs don?t fit. They have to be the skinny ones to fit. Other then that it?s super bright and I like the different modes and the fact that?s it?s rechargeable. If port was bigger it would definitely have 5 stars.

Best Torch I've Ever Owned and Such a Resource. Charges my phone, Lithium Batteries last forever, mounts on the wall and my belt, watery can't stop it, and a Potent Illuminator for all instances.

Battery is bad had 2. I?m confused why it lasts a hr if that I forgot a replacement battery but now another one bad again lasts 30 mins on a charge

i have had other flashlights.....trashlights and B-----man, but this flashlight outshines them all! Built like a tank, Rechargeable and can use regular batteries. Outstanding illumination. I am buying more of Coast lighting products. Can't wait for a sale offering on the lanterns.

Outstanding product, Been a fan Coast a long time. Started with HP7R, liked so much I bought 4 more. Special came out on HP10R, decided to try something different. Very impressed with performance, does everything better ,more light, brighter light, longer reach.

The example of this light, unfortunately, had a malfunction. However, the process of getting the light replaced was very smooth and easy to maneuver. I've the new light for about two weeks and it totally delivers as described on the box. The replacement experience was impressive and the lights performance is equally impressive. In NYC, I can see the watertowers on a 30 story building, from two blocks away. Even with the street lights at full blare. Yup. I'd say it's a keeper.

Overall happy with this flashlight, in my opinion its one of the, if not the best flashlight Coast offers at the moment. Ive had it for almoat 1 month and i just noticed the lens/twist mechanism does not click when locking and unlocking anymore. So i hope i can get this resolved as ive only owned it for 1 month. I also own a tx14r and a xp11r and besides the tx14r and distance capabilities, i do like the hp10r better than the xp11r. Not a big fan of the "turbo" mode on these flashlights.

Expensive and not up to spec. Advertised lithium battery life is 6 hours on high. Mine quits after less than two. I walk my dog about 15 minutes a night and the light quits after 7 or 8 days. Worse, when lithium batteries fail they do it suddenly not slowly like alkaline. Suddenly the light quits and only provides a dim glow to find your way home. And this is summer. What happens in winter? I wanted a bright reliable light because I live in a rural area. This isn?t it.

This is one of the Best Flash lights on the market. Well made, great focus and very bright. also the fact that it can be recharged or you can use disposable batteries is a definite plus.

The charging port malfunctioned. Couple emails later and providing the requested information, coast stood by their warranty as always. The processes was as painless as it could have been. I still make a point to purchase lights from other manufacturers for comparison purposes, but they've got me for the long haul if for nothing more than being a smaller USA company that has quality products. Their customer support has particularly stood out during the few times I've had communication with them. Neither they, or any of their products have given me any reason not to recommend or continue purchasing their stuff. No complaints here.

It’s definitely bright, however I was expecting it to throw its beam a bit longer. I wanted more beam distance. It throws a lot of light up close even when in full spot mode.

This is the second HP10R I have owned. My first was defective, but after contacting a coast warranty rep and submitting a claim they shipped me out a new kit. It arrived in a few days after submitting a claim. Great light with awesome features and accessories. Customer service is awesome! I am impressed and I wish all company warranty departments were as good as Coasts. I am a customer for life! Thanks you to all of the Coast team.

If you want a light that you can shine 500 yards and easily count the number of points on a bucks rack, a light you can drop in the ocean while fighting a bull drum and never burn out staying lit under water, or a light that can be used and abused day to day and take the punishment then this is the light you want to buy. I've tested and purchased multiple high dollar flashlights but this light is by far the best I've ever held in my hand for all around purposes. After a half night of fishing I normally end up charging all my buddys 250-1000 lumen competitor lights with my light while I've still got hours on one battery.This is a Man's flashlight. Coast for Life. Light it up and make em weep!
