Was in TSC today and they had the FL80 marked down to $19.99 so I grabbed on to it thinking they had it priced wrong. Got to the check out and paid with a big smile on my face. Really liking it, 615 lumens on high and you hardly notice it on your head. I have lots of Coast lights and this is the Best Buy yet! I use the headlamps when I take the dogs out at night or when I check on our chickens. As you can see in the picture it throws very good light! Love all my Coast products and the lifetime warranty is awesome. Coast customer for life.

Great product

This is a wonderful company to give your business. A great product at a great price and unquestionably the best customer service I’ve received in a long time. This item, FL80 headlamp was purchased as a Christmas gift in plenty of time to reach it’s destination, but with how poorly the USPS delivered this year it was in jeopardy of not arriving in time. I reached out to the company and they overnighted another in time for Christmas. I know Amazon wouldn’t have done the same, and despite paying several times for priority mail thru the post office, instead of the 2-3 day timeframe most were finally delivered in excess of two weeks with no other excuse than everything else.... it’s covid.... thank you Coast for a fantastic product that has incredible lighting capabilities and was a dream gift.

I never write reviews but I will for this because it really is an excellent headlamp. It is comfortable to wear, easy to operate and well thought out. The lamp holds to 4 different positions, the battery compartment has a rubber gasket and snaps closed, holding tight. You won’t be disappointed. Bought 3 of them for camping and emergency purposes but after trying it out I am using it for so much more. Are there better lights out there? Probably, but dollar for dollar value this light is hard to beat. Canadian Tire had this light on sale for $24.99.

Pure Beam Focusing Optics
The Pure Beam Focusing Optic combines our largest Ultra View Flood Beam with the Bulls-Eye Spot Beam making either up close or downrange illumination highly effective. While using the Ultra View Flood Beam, there is a consistent circle of light up to 11.5 feet (3.5 meters) in diameter at 6 feet (1.8 meters) in distance. While on the Bulls-Eye Spot Beam, you can illuminate up to 767 feet (234 meters) downrange with a transition halo around the spot to increase the effective viewing area.
