I purchased this S30 sheath for my Coast PX45 flashlight because I finally wore out the original sheath that it came with and it is a perfect fit I can't remember the original purchase date but it was several years ago and the flashlight is still working very well I just wore out the sheath from many years of use I am very satisfied with the new sheath and am looking forward to getting many years of use from it Yes I do reccomend it and thank you for providing quality replacements for your products

All of the Coast Sheaths are made of heavyweight material that is strong and durable. I use the S30 for the HP7, and it protects it completely as well as providing quick access. It will also accommodate the slightly larger HP7L. The Velcro closure is very strong, and will last a very long time!

It?s a handy dandy sheath for the medium sized flashlight. Keeps your pockets clean when you have to reach for your flashlight with dirty hands.

These are so hard to come by that I was shocked to actually find one. It's well made but I wish the flexible tongue velcro contact area was longer to accommodate some other flashlights I own. There are a slew of flashlights everywhere but almost no one makes a sheath anymore!

Nice looking case, at first glance. Fits well, and has decent quality material. Velcro doesn’t hold up for very long though. I use my flashlight constantly, and am always taking it in and out of the sheath. First thing that went was the velcro, so I had a button installed. Worked ok for a little bit after that, and then the belt loop was coming apart. Lastly, the light wore through the sheath, on the bottom. It lasted a couple of years with heavy use. For the price, it’s decent. Just be prepared to buy a new one every few years

Bought this sheath to hold my old HP7. Had previously used a different sheath that wasn’t fully enclosed and the light slid in from the top. I constantly had a problem with the light falling out of the bottom when I would get up off the ground or hop down from something. This sheath has taken care of that and fits the light perfectly.

I purchased the S30 sheath as it was the recommended holster for the PX1R which is a fantastic rechargeable light. The quality of the sheath is outstanding but the fit is where it lacks. It is very tight to insert the light into the sheath which may loosen in time and the length of the light is too short for this sheath. With the light inserted all the way, the velcro on the flap barely catches on the receiving side making a not to secure connection. I will continue to use this sheath until I can find a better fitting one. An easy fix would be to make the receiving side velcro on the body of the sheath larger to accommodate the flap having to come down lower making the case shorter for the shorter lights. Again, the quality of this sheath is awesome and I am a Coast customer for life!!!

I recieved my S30 as part of a bundle consisting of the S30+ HP7 + 4 AAA bateries in a nice box. My wife, who has arthritis in her hands, would open the pressure lock on the S30, to look at the item. When she did, the lock was not opened but the nineteen broke. The construction around the strap is clumsy at all. In addition to the pressure lock, there are 4 layers of nylon belt that sit and fill and ensure that the pressure lock should be felt when inserting the S30 into its waistband. It can easily be changed to a better solution and which will be cheaper to produce.
