Ok I bought the XP14R. Its 9.5" in length and I wanted a sheath for it. This is the biggest I found on the site, it said it would fit my flashlight. It does.....barely. When I put it back in the sheath the fold barely connects to the velcro. It feels a little small for the light, if it was a bit bigger and the fold secured better to the velcro I would love it. At this point though I am using the sheath for now but I may need to upgrade to a bigger sheath.

The S-50 Sheath is well made of quality and robust materials, excellent workmanship, accommodates the G455 flashlight perfectly. The Velcro closure is strong and its edges are protected from fraying by the seam and stitching of the cover flap. The elastic is strong and the light does not move around. This sheath will accommodate the G455 with the focus extended as well as with it retracted. Exactly the quality I've come to expect with Coast Products.

I bought this because it was recommended by the website as an accessory for the PX250 flashlight. The sheath seems great if you have a flashlight much larger than the PX250, but for the PX250 it is comically oversized. What is even sadder is that it COULD work if the Velcro loop strip on the inside of the flap ran higher to allow it to adjust for different size flashlights.

Purchased the S50 sheath for the new GX30 flashlight I picked up. It fits the flashlight well and will keep it protected and close to me at all times. The first insert of the GX30 into the S50 was very tight. After a week of being in the sheath, the elastic has loosened a bit and allows easy in and easy out while still holding it firmly. I would certainly recommend the S50 if you have the GX30 flashlight!

In order to get a tight fit I folded the flap into a z and taped it flat. The flap needs more Velcro.to adjust to the flashlights it is suggested for.

This sheath is perfect for the G450 flashlight. It's lightweight, durable and comes with a belt loop. My only gripe is that it could've been a bit cheaper.

Recommended for the SX300R flashlight on Coast's web site. The sheath is top quality however you cannot secure the closing flap. The hook and loop velcro does not extend far enough down the sheath. It is intended for a longer flashlight. Coast customer service suggested I stick a piece of velcro farther down to solve the problem. It does work but lessens the durability as it isn't sewn in like the original piece. For this reason gave it 2 stars instead of 5.

The sheath provided for the SX300R Flashlight is sturdy and very well made, and will stand up to daily use for a long time. It seems though, while adequate for the SX300R, it might be designed to fit other products of varied lengths. Whit the SX300R inside, the protective cover leaves a lot of space between the lens and hood. Perhaps extending the female Velcro strip further down the sheath might create a tighter fit. Otherwise it would get 5 Stars!

Bought this because the website recommended it with the SX300R. As a sheath it is fine, but it is a poor option for the SX300R. Perhaps if there was more Velcro so it could attached in different positions it would be passable, but as it is, it is not the companion the website suggests.

This sheath is excellent for any larger size flashlight. I see that their are some complaints about this unit but that's because it definitely is not designated for smaller flashlights. It has gaps on the bottom which are necessary to give it enough stretch to fit the bigger flashlights. I use it with my Coast Polysteel 700 or 600R flashlights and it works perfectly I've had it for three months and it still looks new so I think in terms of durability it should hold up well. I've had it on my hip through some tough situations at work and also when I was helping a friend that got their car stuck in a ditch at night. Was definitely happy that I had the light on belt and any time I fire up one of my bigger 700-1000 lumen Coast lights my friends and family are impressed by the power. For the price you really can't beat it and Coast really stands behind their products. Just make sure that you aren't buying it for a smaller flashlight because it will definitely not grip it and the light could fall out the bottom. So in conclusion this sheath is great for any 4AA or rechargeable flashlight that is on the larger size and at least 1" in diameter and 8-10" long (25.4mm x 203-250mm.

Got the sheath to hold my SX300R. It fits in it good, but I had to add some Velcro to the side so the flap would fit snug. Wish it was made like that from the start. Otherwise it feels like a solid quality sheath. I’m on week 3 of wearing it and it seems like it will hold up fine.

Worthless sheath. Needs velcro hooks all the way down to accommodate HP10R, HP7R, SX300R and I bought two thinking they would fit HP10R and my new SX300R. Should send the second one back. Worthless IMHO. unless you have a 14 inch flashlight this will do you no good.

The S50 Sheath was recommended for use with the SX300R. It is made of the same good quality as all of my other Sheaths from Coast, but this one falls short on functionality if purchased for carrying/protecting the SX300R. With the flashlight collapsed, the case leaves about a 3rd of the rest of the case open. If you store the flashlight in it's open position, that leaves the lantern LEDs exposed and susceptible to damage. It would have been better to produce a sheath designed for this light to be stored fully closed.

The S50 Sheath fits lights roughly up to 9" tall and 1.75" in diameter. Specifically, the sheath fits the HP14 flashlight. It has a convenient belt loop for easy mounting waist-side. The durable woven material and High Tension elastic sides keep the light secure at all times.
