Very Nice, seems great quality because it is now my favorite!!! It's a good fit, the grip I like it whatever it is. I didn't like the blade in picture but now that I have it, its nice and sturdy enough for the job!!! Double lock ?? ??

I lose knives like they grow legs and walk away. They mostly slip out of my pocket when I'm working in the woods, The rubberized handle resists sliding out easily and I notice that the clip has been lengthened, this is a working tool that is easy to take a keen edge and it won't break your heart when you lose it because you didn't waste a lot of money on it.

Great knife. I have larger hands and the handle being the material and size makes it a much more comfortable grip. Blade is solid and the serration is nice. Good action and easy to maneuver with one hand. I did a little extra sharpening but appears to hold the edge nicely.

This knife is larger than I expected. It's not a problem for me, just don't expect a small/slim little thing. The rubberized grip is nice, it kinda sticks in my pocket sometimes, but overall I like it. Pocket clip is sturdy and long and can go in 3 different positions. I haven't changed mine, but nice to know I could do so easily. Thumb studs on both sides of the blade work well. I wish the hinge was a little smoother/more loose, but I can still open it 1-handed easily (a touch of oil could help probably). Liner lock works well, blade clicks into place nicely. The secondary lock mechanism works well, but I don't find myself using these much on any knife that has one. Blade is nice, sufficiently sharp from the factory. I have not had reason to sharpen it yet, but I have also not used it all that much. Overall the fit/finish is really pretty nice for the price point. This knife will probably find it's way into my pocket for outdoor activities, yard work, fishing, hiking.

Excellent knife for the price point. I was really surprized by not having a newd to really "break" this one in. Sharp right out of the box. It's also more significant than i thought it would be (ordered online).

Good fit and feel to the hand. The function is smooth and it's actually a knife just to unfold and eyeball. I hate to thrash it but.....

This knife is truly awesome. I had an older BX316 (discontinued) Coast knife, lost the pocket clip and screws and was sent this as a full replacement within a week. I am very pleased with the quality of this knife. The blade makes great for slicing, the handle is comfortable and the 3 clip locations allows for carrying in both front or back pockets. Will absolutely be picking up another in the near future.

I bought 2 of these DX318, 3 years ago. I kept one and I gave one to my brother. For me it has been a weekender. Carried for such things as camping, fishing, hiking, kayaking etc. (the first 2 pics For my brother it has been an every day carry knife.(the second 2 pics) Along with the rubber do you handle itself is very ergonomic in design and I have great confidence in what situations holding on to the knife. I also find the shape of the blade perfect for my style slicing. I will most definitely be buying another one when the time comes.

Bought one of these at Home Depot a couple years ago at a great special price. After I used it for a few days, I went back and bought a second one (would not have done so at the list price). I removed the clip on the one I carry every day, and have had no problem with the blade as described in a previous review. I found the serrated edge to be a bother, so I sharpened it off and prefer the blade this way.

I bought one today. I like the feel of the handle and double lock feature. But, when I tried to change the clip position from the front to the back of the handle ( I do it with all my knives), the blade started wobbling side to side and the second lock couldn't be moved into the locked position. All attempts to fix it with the adjustment screw were unsucsessful. Finally, a had to put the clip back in the front of the handle and spent a few minutes to adjust the tension. So, only good for light cutting and don't expect it to last long. These tiny screws will get loose very quickly if you apply any force.
