The Sun-Swatter's contrast-reducing screens are supported by a robust "U"-shaped aluminum frame, which is attached to an adjustable height boom-stick. This ingenious design offers both mobility and a space-creating distance from the subject. For mobile applications, a single assistant can carry the system, while a tripod suffices for static applications.

The Sun-Swatter's smart construction is an evolution of the Sunbounce Classic 3-D frame. The three-dimensional "U" design ensures that at least one side of the frame does not cast a rod shadow.
