This headlight is good for working in small spaces leaving your hands free. The light is not overpowering, blinding you when you are working close to your face. Good valuse for the money.

Love how light it is, but the wire that goes from the battery pack to the light has came lose. Coast replaced it quickly which is why I always come back to Coast. It is a great light especially when I need some focused light when working on small projects.

Very good just warrantied my old one that lasted over 5 years warranty was great and the shipping was amazing definitely going to continue buying coast products

My grandkids and I love this headlamp. It throws a nice tight beam that is great for small area tasks but also works well for walking on trails. Battery life is 5 hours with cheap batteries but much better with high quality batteries. Also the warranty customer service is awesome if it ever fails "lifetime".

My wife bought me this light and it has been a great light. The batteries last pretty good and will last most of the hunting season. I use it mainly for walking in and out to my deer stands. This leaves my hands free to climb in and out of tree stands or carry my rifle safely. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is the strap support on the battery compartment broke and would not stay on my head correctly. But with the life time warranty, it was replaced quickly.

Bought the HL3 also have a px25. Bought the HL3 to replace the sorry, overpriced Black Diamond that made it a year. The HL3 is only 2-3 months in and already has a broken clip that secures the battery pack to the strap. Overall works well, but now I'm gonna have to mail and wait.

It is a great product. I am a truck driver and drive at night. Being able to see under the hood and the tires and the trailer is great. Also while walking around the truck all traffic can see me. But the battery band clip broke, and the band won't hold the battery case. I can't wear it. Since I have a lifetime warranty, could coast replace it?
