This is a nice light, serves the purpose that I purchased it for. I do wish the red light was a little brighter and better focused, is great for those nightly visits to the bathroom when you don't want to wake up loved ones. I have not found a good use for the blue or green lights, wish it were better red lights, but I knew that when I purchased it. Overall a nice light, seems to be very good on batteries. The textured button on the white lights is a nice touch, lets you find the light you want in the dark.

I like the kites in the combo-pack. Works well. I have only one prob!em. One of the kites was turned on in shipping and ran the batteries down. How about replacements? Thanks.

Years ago I had an earlier COAST model of this flashlight and was so sad to loose it. Years passed until recently found the deal on a pair. In the old days I often used the colors for signaling during productions by placing the light on the sill of the sound booth where I worked. In the missing years I longed to have one to put on the banks of a river our scouts were canoeing for the occasion when they returned in darkness. The colors could let them know when they were near the take-out point to navigate it better and also mark the take-out point itself. Can't wait to try these new TX10s!

Purchased a 2-pack of the TX10 during a recent sale and very happy that I did. This light is not going to scorch your retinas or set the neighbors bushes on fire, but then again that isn't the purpose of this light! I keep one in my primary vehicle--not buried in the glovebox but in easy reach in an open cubby in the console where it is quick & easy to access. The 2nd one stays within arms reach of my front door for any after dark jaunts outside. The white light is great for general all-around use--it knocks out the dark without being blinding. Each of the 3 colors provide more than sufficient illumination while still preserving night vision. Overall I am very happy with the TX10 and would recommend them to a friend.

Great flashlight for aviation! Only wish it came in in headlamp form and rechargeable. The RGB lights are all single LED and enough light for a cockpit the white light has 3 leds and good enough to illuminate about 10 feet. A nice feature is that the white light button has a textured surface to identify it.

I am using it for light painting when dark. So far so good. Not supper bright but fine for my use. Quality seems so-so but I don't plan on putting it through a lot. I have better lights for camping and such.

The TX10 wrapped around my neck allows me access to green and red light that does not disrupt my night vision while piloting my general aviation aircraft. The white light is excellent for inspection. I bought the model in 1994 and it lasted until 2020 when my green light button failed. I emailed a photo and received a free replacement under the lifetime warranty. The replacement has newly designed button switches and is exponentially brighter. I highly recommend this light for any pilot. The light is very durable and reliable. Excellent customer service. Somewhere in the early 2000s I lost my rubber o ring during battery replacement. I called customer service and received 5 new ones in the mail for free. Coast is a wonderful company!

I loved my first purchase for my students. These are awesome for light photography as they are bright and change colors. However my second batch, some of them did not work. Make sure you check them before you use them. :)

I use this light as night light during night photography. Red is nice (both color and it's the dimmest) for preserving night vision, green is OK, too, but a touch brighter. Aside from using it to check settings, it is a fun to to mix up colors quickly for some light painting effects. Note that this is a low powered light, so painting close up objects only. You also need to make a little snout or your camera will see it. The con is that it is hard to find the right on/off switch in the dark. The white switch is riffled but I cannot feel it with cold hands, so there is the risk to turn on white instead of turning off red ... I use a strip of gaffers tape over the white button so I can feel the difference in the dark.
