Two nice festures
Great little light has rounded edge so it doesn?t tear up your pocket, and a recessed tail switch so it doesn?t turn on in your pocket.

Great flashlight!
This has been a nearly perfect flashlight for me! Working as a Quality Specialist/CWI/NACE/NDE LII for over a decade in ship repair and refineries, I prefer a small, reliable pocket flashlight with only an on-off button. I'm on my 3rd PX25 now - the first 2 were lost - they never died or malfunctioned. I had the intermittent contact issue once, but it turned out to be the silver screw-in bulb holder coming loose; once this was securely tightened, it worked flawlessly again. Based on the comments, I think there's a batch of these flashlights that aren't tight enough from the factory (takes about 20 seconds to tighten.
For an every day inspection light, it's just about perfect. It's not ideal for large walkthroughs and job completion checks in big tanks or barges, but these don't happen very often; I use a brighter flashlight in these instances.
Note to Coast:
The perfect flashlight for an inspector would be the PX25 with a normal setting (275L), and a high setting (800+L). When inspecting welds and materials close-up, a super bright light makes inspection impossible. The on-off switch should not toggle through high/low. I would prefer a separate setting switch. 99% of the time, I need to pull the flashlight out of my pocket and look at welds, materials, substrate, etc.; the other 1%, I need to look at large, far away areas. It would be nice to just switch the light to the high setting, and then have the on-off switch work normally. Never in a million years, would I need a strobe, a red light, a super low setting or medium setting, or a beam focus... these functions are irritating. Otherwise, thanks for making the PX25 - a nearly perfect flashlight for us inspectors!

Production Issues?
Love the flashlight...when it works. There seems to be production issues or just a faulty design flaw. I'm on my third light. Coast has been amazing in that they've honored their warranty every time. The light stops working after several months for no apparent reason. I own other Coast products and have had no issues. Perhaps it's time to put this light to pasture and move on?

Didn't work long
Have the same issues as many people here worked for a bit stopped working started corrode so I cleaned it. Turn back o. With new battery last about 10 mins then stopped working entirely . I would suggest a different product.

Money worth it

Great flashlight-some improvement possible.
Flashlight is a great size for keeping in a pocket for easy access. Nice bright beam and the single switch is SO much better than the triple switches. I'd like to see it with a flat base so you can stand it up and some flat sides so it doesn't roll...

I had to use coast PX 25 for years and I am an exterminator it?s been the The The best flashlight I?ve ever used I?ve tried some of the other just not quite as bright but this one?s awesome that?s what I need I purchased several of them through Amazon and finally went to coast and I get a better price

The PX25 is a Great Flashlight
Great flashlight to have in your car or truck. Comes in handy and easy to store. I have five of these flashlights, one for each vehicle and two to use around the house and RV.

Compact & Capable
The COAST PX25 is compact but very capable. I use this flashlight regularly for work and leisure. It’s my EDC (every day carry) light. It has great lumen output fur it’s size and is a great value for the cost.

Flashlight
i love this flashlight.It has a lifetime warantee.I used it about every day.I ran a fleet of about 300 vehicles.The flash light started working intermittently.I called customer support.Told them the problem and that I did not have a receipt.They said send a picture and we will send you another.They sent it.A great company.I will be buying all my flash lights from them.

Rugged and handy
I've had one or more of these around for years. They're perfect for a tool box or a pocket. They're rugged, won't break if dropped while using, and fit into all the places that you have trouble reaching. One of my favorite lights for automotive work and around the house.
