I've worked industrial maintenance for over 25 years and I've never had a flashlight work so well for so long, as the G50. One in particular, I've had for 5 years, using it on a daily basis, always in my back pocket or my tool bag. A reliable, durable, quality flash light.

I broke my g50 and asked the company if I could buy a new battery piece to replace the broken part. The company sent me a new flashlight without any questions. They were very helpful and I received my new one in only a few days. I love my g50- it is bright and compact but has a very strong light and a nice hefty weight to it. Great company and they stand by their products!

I'm a building engineer having a reliable flashlight is a must I was really surprised when the battery holding mechanism within the aluminum shell failed to maintain a connection. That mechanism is plastic and it developed a crack. In it's service life I replaced the batteries no more than half a dozen times. Very disappointed because it is a nice design.

This is my second G50 flashlight. The first one started flickering after about a year and a half. I've had the new one about a month and so far so good.

The light was very usable, but after a few months the power button popped out and I couldn't find it. I probably turned it off and on 30-50 times a day, 5-6 days a week for 3-4 months. Not sure I would buy this model again. It will probably be wonderful for someone that uses it a few times a day, lol.

I have had this Coast G50 light for about a year, worked great up until last week... had to tap the butt end to get it to turn on, worked off and on for about 2 days and now it does not work at all, I own about four flashlights from coast and honestly would not purchase anything other than coast. I love my HX5!!!

The G50 is a great light. I have used it camping, boating and around the house. It’s bright, durable and reliable. Growing up, we often had cheap flashlights that didn’t cut it. I wanted something better and this is it. It runs on 3 AAA batteries, which are easy to find in a pinch. And the anodized aluminum body gives it a solid feel without any rust. I would recommend this light.

I bought a G50, and loved it until the connection started to fail. I had to bang the lamp into my palm to get it on, and eventually it died completely. Coast saw that review and advised they could replace it under their lifetime warranty thing. Great news, but no new light ever came. I emailed coast to let them know the courier was taking it back to the main land, nothing heard back. But I did get about 3 or 4 new offers and requests for feedback in my inbox. I am actually responding to the most recent one, asking how the flashlight that never came was working out. Inb summary, light is excellent when it works, and perhaps there is a covid thing to blame the courier for... but I would have liked to have heard back.

Bought a coast g50 flashlight. At first it was great and I was instantly hooked on this brand and within a week purchased another coast light. About 2 weeks later the g50 just stopped working. I contacted a rep about getting it replaced as they are supposed to be lifetime warranty. At first it seemed like they wanted to replace it. They said that they sent me a no charge invoice to my email that I need to fill out and return to receive my replacement. I have looked everywhere for this invoice in my email and in the coast crew app since they made me sign up for that first. Nowhere did they send me anything of the sort and when I told them that they just keep telling me that they sent it and can't issue a replacement until I complet it. Funny thing is I asked them where to find it and they tell me they don't know. It's fraud there is no lifetime warranty they try to make it look good and say that they sent something they never did and put the blame on you because you can't find the false invoice and complete it. Really sucks because I just bought a third coast pocket light and it randomly works when it wants but at least I can return it for a full refund. I used to recommend coast lights to everyone now I will no longer purchase their products myself. Go to harbor freight. The lights are much cheaper have the same quality and features and best part is it truly is a lifetime warranty. If it stops working I walk in and back out with a new one in a matter of minutes.

Battery doesnt last long even drained while standby. Broke within few months but good customer service got new one right away. Hope new one last.

I bought a G50 from Canadian TIre because I liked the specs and size, however, the darn thing flickers, just like lots of customers are saying here, so I have to return it (and yes I made sure the batteries were installed correctly and the cap was screwed on tightly.

finally i found a good flashlight at a reasonable price, well constructed, premium packaging, with 2 optic focusing beam & most of all the power swicth is well made (where this part of flashlight always gives up. i used it to inspect my welds with 230 lumen, its very bright for small size, top notch pocket flashlight, i think i gonna buy another as spare in my tool box while still on sale?üëç?üëç?üëç?üëç?üëç
