The NH-5 Non-Hardening Fixer is designed for the photographic processing of black and white film and paper. It helps to stabilize the image and prevent it from fading or discoloring over time.
NH-5 with hardener is a two-component fixer that allows photographers to regulate the hardening process themselves. NH-5 without hardener does not include a hardening agent, making it a more economical choice.
At film dilution, one gallon of NH-5 can process an average of 100 - 8 x 10 films or plates, or approximately 100 -120 rolls of film. At print dilution, the same quantity can process approximately 100 - 8 x 10 prints.
The case of four 1-gallon bottles, when mixed, yields a total of 16 gallons of fixer.

When it comes to the precision and longevity of black and white photography, the NH-5 Non-Hardening Fixer stands out as a high-quality, professional-grade solution. This effective fixer is specially formulated for both film and paper, ensuring that your monochromatic images are stabilized and preserved against fading or discoloration. With its non-hardening properties, the NH-5 Fixer offers photographers the efficiency of extended use without compromising on effectiveness.
The NH-5 Fixer is available in two variants to cater to different processing preferences. For those who prefer to have control over the hardening process, the NH-5 with hardener is an ideal choice. This two-component system includes Part A, which contains the fixing agent and additional components, and Part B, the hardening agent, allowing for a tailored approach to the fixing process.
Alternatively, NH-5 without hardener presents the most economical option, eliminating the need for a hardening agent while still delivering durable and consistent results. This versatility makes NH-5 a preferred choice for photographers who value both quality and cost-effectiveness.
With a single gallon of NH-5 at film dilution, you can process an average of 100 - 8 x 10 films or plates, or approximately 100 - 120 rolls of film. When used at print dilution, the same quantity can process approximately 100 - 8 x 10 prints. This efficient fixer is not only effective but also ensures a high volume of processing, making it a smart investment for both amateur and professional photographers.
This offer includes a case of four 1-gallon bottles, which when mixed, yield a total of 16 gallons of fixer, providing an ample supply for extensive photographic work. The NH-5 Non-Hardening Fixer is a testament to the enduring quality of traditional black and white photography, offering an efficient and reliable solution for image processing.
