Chrosziel 456-20 Academy Matte Box Kit for Sony PMW-350 Cameras - Clamp On

The Chrosziel C-456-20-PMWK1 Academy Matte Box Kit for Sony PMW-350 consists of a 456-20 matte box, a French flag, two independently rotating filter stages, two 4 x 5.65" / 4 x 4" combination filter holders, a 130mm rear plate, an adapter ring and a step-down ring (130-110mm, 110-85mm) and a bracket for connection to 15mm lightweight support rods (rods system not included). The kit is used with the Sony PMW-350.

The 456-20 matte box offers wide angle (16:9/4:3) housing for lens as wide as 12mm (35mm Academy) and eliminates the effects of vignetting. Equipped with a filterstage for two independently rotating 4 x 5.65" / 4 x 4" filter holders, the matte box provides sufficient space for adjusting the position of filters.

Provided with a French flag, the 456 Academy Matte Box for Sony PMW-350 Kit 1 controls the angle of light and eliminates lens glare and flare and it can be coupled with optional side wings for accurate light adjustment. To adapt to different lens openings, the kit contains a 130-110mm step-down ring, a flexible 110-85 mm ring made of elastic black polymer and a 130mm rear plate.

For a secure mounting, the kit includes a center bracket for use with optional 15mm lightweight rods, which attach to an LWS base (also not included). More options: side wings attach to the matte box using a pivot mechanism to help shield the lens from excess light. An optional swing-away bracket, attached to the back of the matte box housing, will allow for quick and efficient lens changes.
