One of the standout features of this mattebox is its filter stage, which houses three individually rotating filter holders. These holders can accommodate 4 x 5.65 / 5 x 5 filters, providing ample space for adjusting the position of filters to suit your specific shooting requirements. The Chrosziel MatteBox 456-30 Academy also includes a French flag to control the angle of light, effectively eliminating lens glare and flare. For even more precise light adjustment, the mattebox can be coupled with optional side wings.
The kit comes complete with a 130mm clamp-on rear plate and a bracket designed for use with 15mm lightweight support rods. With optional bridge plate adaptors, this mattebox can interface seamlessly with 15mm or 19mm bridge plate rods. For quick and efficient lens changes, an optional swing-away bracket can be attached to the back of the MatteBox housing.
