Very good substitute for D76. Convenient, especially if used infrequently compared to having to mix a gallon of D76 at a time. Good shelf life. Add a puff of gas from your dust can. Still, with all liquid chemicals, you are paying for water to some degree.

Best developer I?ve used, and I?ve tried at least 8 different options. Forgiving, simple, and lasts longer in bottled storage than what the label says. For pushing film this MIGHT not be the very best option (I?ve liked my results) but for standard developing at box speed, it?s reliably given me better results than Kodak D76, Ilfosol or Rollei chemistry.

I have been using sprint developer for many years on Ilford Fp4 and Fp5 4x5 film and have found it reliable and containing accurate information on Temperature /time variations.

I use this product developing my film and printing my photos. This is a good product because it works, people just have to follow the directions on how to mix the developer and water.

How can you elevate your black and white photography With Adorama's Standard Black & White Film Developer, you can achieve professional, high-quality results every time. This product is a key component in SPRINT's comprehensive B&W processing system, designed to bring out the best in your monochrome film.
The Standard Film Developer is a liquid concentrate, with 1 liter of concentrate capable of creating 10 liters of working solution. This ample volume is sufficient to develop at least 50 rolls of film, or if you're using a replenished solution, up to 110 rolls. This efficiency makes it a reliable and durable choice for both amateur and professional photographers.
One of the standout features of the Standard Film Developer is its ability to inhibit agitation streaks, ensuring a smooth and consistent development process. It also prevents over-development that can block up highlights, preserving the integrity of your images. Plus, it's free from Metol, a common developer ingredient that can cause skin rashes, making it a safer choice for photographers.
The Standard Black & White Film Developer is part of a complete B&W Negative Films checklist, which includes the BLOCK Stop Bath, RECORD Speed Fixer, RECORD Alum Hardening Converter, ARCHIVE Fixer Remover, and the END RUN Wetting Agent & Stabilizer.
With Adorama's Standard Black & White Film Developer, you're not just developing film - you're crafting high-quality, professional-grade black and white images. Trust in the quality and reliability of Adorama for all your photography needs.
