Step down rings brought value back to old matt boxes
The ring came in a timely fashion at a very good price. This little item enables me to use a couple of matt box shades on my Nikons. The boxes sat idle for years until it dawned on me, while there were no step down rings offered by the manufactures, perhaps there was another solution. A quick look at step down rings offered by Adorama showed exactly what I needed. It's all about research and resources and Adorama offered both.

Cavision step-up rings
Although much of what we buy in the pursuit of photographic excellence fills our camera bags and empties our pockets, step-up rings make our dollars go farther. In addition they prevent the vignetting that often occurs with 'stacked' filters such as neutral density or thicker polarizing filters. Cavision hits the mark between the $70 rings and the $3 ones that come with threads that are so rough that they wont work at all. Well done Cavision!
