Does the job fine
I used this to attach a variable diopter To the front of an anamorphic lens. It seems plenty well made.
• This ring allows you to use a 3.65" bottom threaded Conversion Lens or Filter, on a 86mm front threaded lens
The rear of this Clamp-on step-up ring is 90mm ID (inside dimension). It clamps on to the front of a lens that has an 86mm filter thread, stepping it up to accept 3.65" add-on lenses or filters, as the front of the step-up ring is a 3.65" ID thread.
