I use this coupled with a circular polarizer to use at a Variable ND and it works great.

I used this filter with my Nikon 14-24, it is a bit tricky to use but it gets the job done. A good compromise for landscape photography!

This polarizing filter does exactly what it should. It reduces reflections and slightly increases saturation. It works best with a matte box and won't fit certain on-lens filter holders due to its thickness. I tested it using a Canon 600d (T3i) with various Canon, Sigma, and Tamron lenses with a Proaim V11 mattebox.

The filter glass is clear and packaged well. Although it works as described to polarize light, the filter is too thick to fit the Lee Foundation filter holder .

The polarizer filter reduces light entering the lens that is oriented in a single plane (polarized light) without affecting color temperature. Light reflected off glass or water, as well as some of the light emitted from the sky on a clear day, is polarized. When rotated to the appropriate angle, the polarizer can largely eliminate reflections off glass or water. Furthermore, the polarizer will reduce glare and excess sky light, thereby increasing sharpness, contrast and color saturation of the image.
