About Cavision MB4512H-2

The Cavision MB4512H-2 is a wide 16x9 Hard Shade Matte Box. Matte boxes control light better than a regular lens shade and offer the videographer the ability to use high quality 4x4 and 4x5.65 glass filters for image effects.

Cavision MB4512H-2 Features

  • Can be used as clamp-on or with 15mm rods support
  • 120mm back-mount (MB4512 series) available for larger lenses
  • Extra wide hard shade designed specifically for HD 16:9 aspect ratio
  • 4x5.65 filter tray in the front filter stage helps avoid vignetting for wider lenses
  • Rotating filter stage for use with polarizing and graduated filters
  • Fits a large variety of cameras and lenses including both Broadcast and Mini-DV (note: requires adapter rings)
