It connects to FireWire-enabled camcorders to instantly record (capture) footage digitally, eliminating the time-consuming process of digitizing DV/HDV/DVCProHD tapes or P2 cards into non-linear editing (NLE) systems.
CitiDISK CFR is the latest addition to Shining's award winning CitiDISK family. Capture footage digitally and to tape simultaneously - directly into QuickTime footage through camera's viewfinder). At only 6 oz, CitiDISK CFR won't weigh you down when trekking up Mount Everest in sub-zero temperatures or traversing the African wilderness in high-vibration shoots. CitiDISK CFR runs with off-the-shelf, removable compact flash memory cards (also known as "solid-state" memory, ranges from 500MBytes to 500GBytes ), offering key advantages over traditional drives.
